Was about to post this myself.
#4 USC - I would put them at #3 behind the Zags and Baylor and ahead of Michigan, but they definitely have a shot vs Gonzaga. #5 OSU - Ahead of #6 Houston. Almost like the espn writer decided to throw the Pac a bone by slotting a team 1 higher than their opponent. #7 UCLA - Tough matchup with #3 Michigan, but not impossible.
Somehow Arkansas at #8 feels right, because I think that would be the team Baylor would choose to play if given that choice.

I am still enjoying that when we met UCLA in OT, we outscored them 13-9. When ‘bama did, UCLA dropped 23 points on them.

Beavs still aren't getting the respect they deserve for their D.....watching the quacks and spoiled children last night and I couldn't help but notice how lackadaisical the quacks were at times on D....and I thought to myself, this current Beavs team NEVER looks like that.....I mean we get beat, or are out of position like any team, but the effort is there every possession.....bring on the coogs!!

CBS has us losing by 15 tonight! ET going nuclear??? Do they even watch this team?
(12) Oregon State vs. (2) Houston Time: 7:15 p.m. ET | Location: Lucas Oil Stadium Equality (North) TV: CBS | Live stream: March Madness Live
Beaver Fever is reaching pandemic levels right now after Oregon State's done what virtually no one thought it could do. But this might be where the line ends. Houston's defense -- combined with its offensive rebounding skills -- will likely give it a huge advantage to get more shots in this one. And the way in which Houston is scoring so efficiently right now, that should give the Cougs a huge edge. How OSU star Ethan Thompson plays in this one will dictate how close it is. If he goes nuclear again, we might be in for a fun surprise. Prediction: Houston 75, Oregon State 60 -- Boone

Ethan has been very good, but his is hardly a one-man show. Also, OSU has now beaten 4 teams in the sweet 16, two of whom are in the Elite 8. But I guess that’s hard to uncover for the CBS writers.

Kiss of Death? Like a commentator mentioned the guy stepping to the free throw line hasn't missed since the Reagan administration.
We shall see.

Mention fan support for underdog (Cinderella, Beaver Fever, etc). 2. Talk about the real team’s prowess in real basketball terms. 3. Pick out the star player on the underdog team and say that if he has a great night it could be interesting. To do it right, they would have had to get to watch a few Beaver games and they don’t have time for that.

I would like Houston to read as many predictions and ratings just like that in the next 7.5 hours. The more the merrier.

It’s not like seeding or ranking has mattered to us before now. Who cares?

I like being the underdog ... don't care what others predict , just care about how we finish ! Houston has some great stats , so, it will be a tough game ! Need to push our game to the next level , stay out of foul trouble !

What are we griping about? A month ago if some body said we would be the 8th best team in the elite 8 you would have that some body committed.

Well as someone that also roots for Illinois — you remember them, #1 seed, top 5 in rankings, sexy pick to win it all — what the talking heads and pundits say don’t mean much. Just keep winning and when you’re the last team standing they have to seed you number 1.
