Our catching is killing us. Just think what it is doing to Mitch

Our catching is killing us. From what I saw with Cole, he seemed less likely for passed balls. Liked his overall effort better than what Claunch has been doing lately.

Tying run in scoring position. We pop up a bunt and look at strike 3. Not good at bats

Bad call on that last strike. But Beavs just didn’t seize the opportunity when they had the chance.

There is this things the beavs used to do to win games. It was called bunting to get runners in scoring position. What happened?

Not good at bats Can’t say I like this post but I totally agree with it.....Armstrong just isn’t himself He sure wasn't himself today. His fielding error in the 4th led to the 2-out, 3-run HR, which was the difference in the game by itself. Just do not understand bunting against a pitcher who has just given up 2 straight walks after a home run and is in trouble. Show bunt or not, but the pitcher had lost control and Andy tried to bunt another pitch up and in. Make the guy throw a strike, and don't let him up for air!

Bunting continues to not be good. Used to be our calling card. Have no idea what to say about the pitching tonight.

A pitcher can’t get anyone out and we literally give them one by bunting. I just didn’t understand that either.

Taking a strike then bunting to move the runners made sense. Not getting the ball down is something else. What is worse is taking 3rd strikes with a runner on second in that situation. Our Pitching? That was a 2.40 Hitting team.

I was surprised how poorly Frisch performed starting the game. That put us deep in a hole. Luckily, our bats responded and brought us back. But we used the bottom half of our pitching staff against them and couldn’t hold them down. This game was a development game, and I think Santa Clara wanted the win more.
On the other hand, perhaps if we sacrifice ourselves to Santa Clara, the Catholics and God will be appeased so that we can beat Loyola Saturday!
