With this pitcher falling off the mound so far to the third base side, couldn’t a player bunt to the first base side for a hit?

As far as Preston in the first, I guarantee he is taking the first strike and very likely the second. The third strike was marginal. Lead-off guy is tough. I think I was more irked at how we started the top of the first and then watching our lead off batter take 3 in a row....sorry about the rant |

Baseball is just weird. Think bats are terrible, but D and pitching are great. The last 2 games are opposite of those thoughts.
