Insane game. Andy has had two series of the worst swings possible and delivers. Crazy. The ball was up high. I saw it floating there. It was the pitcher's fault, I think, more than anything. |

Ummm Not sure I'd call it great. But it sure feels good! You have a blow up inning and two solid guys out of the bullpen go off the deep end, and you fight back and win? That's a great win! |

We say it every year, just win series. Sweeps are really, really hard in the PAC
Seems like some youngsters may be earning more playing time, thankfully our pitching will usually allow us to fiddle with the position players as we learn who is a practice field guy, and who is a live action guy.
I like that MC & staff are not averse to looking at youngsters when vets don’t produce.

With everything that happened in this game....to win the series against a good WSU team....to me we really needed this. Bats were more active.... |

Well, looks like the Beavers found their bats just in time. As stated earlier, just win the series. While a sweep is sweet, its hard.
And if you're wondering where I've been, event though I can't get into the stadium, I've been driving down and parking in front of the heat plant and "watch" the game from there while listening to the radio for all weekend home games. So I'll be back for the two mid-week games against LMU and the series at Washington.
Not bad to start 2-1 in conference play.
