Our two errors to their 6 or so wild pitches have canceled each other out I think

Ober is completely lost at the plate. Terrible swing, bad pitch recognition and no confidence is a bad combination

I'm still looking for the magic bat that we must have, you know, the one that hits the ball while resting softly on our shoulders. Swing the dam bat!!! Leaving the bases loaded in the 4th may come back to bite us. In the 5th too. ouch.

My wife just lost radio privileges. She was in another part of the house and when we heard her cry out in anguish before the stream was even done with the offensive time out, we were not happy.

Leaving the bases loaded in the 4th may come back to bite us. In the 5th too. ouch. Seems like the team did that a lot back in 2019, too. LOB stat is making me lose more hair.

Bottom of the 6th (Coug bench has quieted a bit.)
Casey at bat. Takes a walk. (Make 'em pay.) AA up. Strikes out. Froemke steps in. Base hit. Runners at 1 and 2. KMac ready to be the hero. Blooper into left field. Casey scores! (Did I call that or what?!) PJones now at the plate.

As to why Watkins came in so early, it looked to me like Jake was stretching his back more so than usual in the third. Watkins has been lights out, but just didn't do it today. Burns, during the short, 2020 season and so far this season has been very effective. Mundt threw a lot of pitches on Friday so he is limited today.
Also of note is that MicahM is still nicked just by watching him late in the game yesterday. The 2nd full game back from a hammy is often where the long term injury happens.

Sure would feel better if we could get a little cushion here.
