It's sad. We all make mistakes, but it's too bad they say "committed to Oregon" on Sunday, and that they left out Adlee as a Beaver commit. But, the good news..... This is a great get for the Beavs! They have been recruiting her for a long time. I have a feeling that she may have been a Beaver lean for years, which would explain why the Beavers didn't offer some very good prospects (Grace Vanslooten, etc). The Beavs were becoming a powerhouse right when Timea was at the age to become interested in college WBB teams, and I beleive she visited Corvallis during her middle school years. Seeing Gill full of fans is no doubt a big positive for young girls. This is amazing news for the Beaver program. Next question? Are the Beavs done for 2022? Lily Hansford holds an offer, and follows the Beavs closely. Oh, and I think this helps 2023 recruiting immensely. "Sad" is a nice way to put it. Embarrassing is how I see it. In any case, nice to see Timea and OSU WBB getting some ink.

As a side note, the Adidas circuit has been very good to OSU - Kennedy, Taylor, Talia, Raegan, Timea, and Adlee all play for Adidas-based teams.
Sasha and Savannah both played for Under Armour teams.
Greta played for a Nike team.
Nike typically produces the most talent, so it’s interesting that with all of our recent talent, only one played for a Nike based team (Kat, Taya, Aleah, and probably a few others also played for Nike teams).

The “Oregon” mistake in the Prospects Nation article has since been fixed. Still no mention of Adlee. Sleepin!

Timea is a great recruit and I'm glad we got her. I'm curious how SR sees her place in the future. His recruits talk about how he envisions where they will be used on the team. Got a lot of really talented bigs coming in and already here now. Where are they all going to go? The one downside of granting an extra year of eligibility to everyone. New players coming in and no one leaving? The log jam will be an issue. She may give us consistent scoring at the 4, which we really haven't had up to now. She has a great looking shot judging from the film above.

Some video footage from that 2017 Adidas All-American camp:
Kennedy, Taylor, Sasha, Talia, and Timea were all present. Adidas has been good to the Beavs!

Really nice collection of talent there. Talia and Tamea holding their own as players that young really makes you understand how Talia has been able to make an impact so early for OSU.

If everybody comes back next year, eligibility wise, we look like this: Seniors - Goodman, Mack, Subasic Juniors - Corosdale, Simmons Sophs - Aquino(?), Mannon, Brown, Jones, Mitrovic Frosh - Goforth, Samuel, Kampschroeder, von Oelhoffen Incoming - Gardiner, Beers, Blacklock As you can see, the number going out equals the number coming in. Note also that next year will be Aquino's 4th in the program. If she is still unable to play, I would imagine they'll free up her scholarship after that. Also, I have no idea if Mannon was ever given a scholarship.

I think there's a chance that Mitrovic might still be a freshman next year--yes, for the third time. If I understand the one-time rule, it states that athletes can repeat next season at wherever they stand this year. Mitrovic is a red-shirt freshman this year and may well get to repeat the year, just like everyone else.
I think Mannen is still a walk-on, but I'm sure there are many more knowledgeable than I.

Amazing collection of talented ladies. As a long time beaver believer,it still stuns me that we're able to go into Arkansas,Kansas,Texas,Utah,Illinois, and other states and get 5* prospects who could pick almost any school in the country. Kudos to coach Rueck and staff for building a program that is capable of this. The sky is the limit...
