Based on the metrix put out yesterday, there will be high school football games played across the state tonight that have 400 people in attendance. Yet our athletic department can't find its way to let even parents of players in to watch their kids. We are at a place where this is not on the Pac 12, not on the Governors office. It's on the Athletic department and the administration. They owe us an explanation!

You can only have 75 people at an event. I think to have more than that by your definition of "Area", you would have to block areas of the stadium to insure that people didn't move between sections. We just went from extreme to high risk today.....give it some time and it may happen.

Even Seattle is allowing the Mariners to have 25% capacity. No reason we shouldn't be at least at that point here. 25% , must be ken Griffey bobble head night

We were in extreme risk before today. A reasonable explanation as to why spectators (at the very least, player parents)can not be in Goss today would be...?

A reasonable explanation as to why spectators (at the very least, player parents)can not be in Goss today would be...? That they only found they were coming out of extreme a couple of days ago and it probably takes some time to prep the stadium so they can safely have some fans in attendance.

I think this is going to be the holdup. There's a lot to be figured out. How do you keep people in their zones? How do you keep the players safe? What should be done about concessions? Who gets the first chance at tickets? What happens to all the cardboard cutouts that people paid for believing they would be there all season? To do this responsibly, OSU needs to plan well. If they can't do it by WSU, maybe the mid-week games against Santa Clara would be more reasonable.

How hard could it be to let parents in?

If the AD office doesn’t have a couple of contingency plans already thought out; 25%, 50%, 75% w/concessions, w/out. Then someone needs to get fired. Successful organizations are proactive, they plan ahead, they plan for success.
