Have to hope( like a lot of high school grads), that she wants to experience college away from her home state . Look how many Oregon girls and guys leave our State to play sports . One of the biggest examples to me was Ryan Crouser going to Texas and stiffing Track City ! Would have NEVER predicted that one .

And Staley is not for everybody. That goes for all coaches, there is no style that will work for all players.

Thanks for the heads-up on Joyce Edwards.....I'm sure there's an interesting back drop story to be told about her visit....
It's an impressive statement that OSU gets a visit from an East Coast talent who literally has her choice of schools from throughout the nation..... I have no clue if we have a realistic chance of signing her - but having her on campus is a bit of a chest thumper in the recruiting world. Totally guessing that she might stop by Eugene as well.....but if she doesn't, well that's another interesting story.... GO BEAVS!!

Well, if she's been here this weekend, the weather is certainly cooperating for us. Great example of west coast high school talent going to the east coast for college is Evina Westbrook. So maybe we can snag one from South Carolina.

Likely for Jordan Lee, a 6-3 guard/forward ranked in the top-20 of her class: 5'11

Joyce Edwards announced today that she received an offer from Oregon. You’d figure that she would receive or already have an offer from us considering the visit. Nothing from her about Oregon State yet, though. I always hate when the Ducks get involved, and unfortunately it seems that they always are..

Look at what the ducks have done, with highly rated players ! They tie them up for awhile , dampen down their skills. Go nowhere. and then they transfer out ! The only one that met expectations was Sabrina the ball hog … every other girl on the floor and on the bench had to suffer through that crap !

I realize we're not uck fans here, but not sure what you mean. Ucks get highly rated recruits, but not as high as deeming them automatics in the F4 or it's a failure. Like it or not Graves (may be a d*ck?) has done a great job. After initial rebuild season from the idiot Westhead 24,23,33,33,31 wins before the Covid season. Three straight Pac12 titles before Covid hit. Post season in 4 straight (12-4/ Oregon has 17 postseason Ws in their history): E8, E8, F4, S16. And, Covid probably canceled away their best overall team. Hate the ucks, but the facts show Graves has done a great job... unfortunately!

Graves has done well, but Scott's record against the Ducks is 17 wins and 6 losses, including 4 wins against Ionescu, Hebard, and Sabally, and 2 wins last year. Bring 'em on.

Sabally and Hebard respectfully disagree Yeah, those 2 benefited immensely playing w/ Ionescu, to suggest otherwise is silly. Cazorla did just fine as well. Interesting describing a player who racked up 1091 career assists as a ball hog.

I'm not sure where the comparison with SR enters my post? I said nothing about one vs the other, nor did any post suggest such?? Respecting an opponent's accomplishments doesn't disparage your own program. In fact doing so elevates it when you've beaten them regularly. Just as disparaging your opponents doesn't elevate your own program or players.
