Finally got around to updating the 2024 thread and removing names who committed elsewhere and eliminated OSU. Not quite sure where we stand with any recruits at this point. I assume some official visits will be starting up soon for kids who are planning to commit before the fall. It's been a while since we've had a lot of recruits taking officials, but IIRC May and June were fairly common months for them to be taken.
If anyone has any other names, please share!

Damn it....... a good one too. Beaverwbb fan, you posted a few months ago that Fiso had the "it" factor. Does that mean a special point guard type toughness or what? And you mention a pacific northwest kid too which is a plus for any west coast school.

I like Fiso’s game. She’s a long, crafty point guard. Smooth floor game and is very good with the ball in her hands. She’ll do well in Graves’ offensive schemes. Her biggest weakness is her three point shot. With limited scholarships for 2024, I think OSU’s bigger needs are a scoring guard and, more importantly, a big. |

Although I would have liked to see the Beavs land Fiso, I agree that the biggest need is size. There doesn't seem to be much recruiting noise around the OSU program. I thought this 2022 class may lead others to look at OSU but we're not seeing that yet. I do think Aleah will help, but not sure how long it will take before we those results. There is every reason to believe the team will get a lot better over the next couple years as the 2022 class evolves into a solid team. That will help recruiting as well.

I imagine last years record makes recruiting a hard sell. A big would be nice, but we have no seniors next year so it won't be a big whoop if we don't get any major commits.

We may be a year away, but I (again) honestly believe there are the makings of a really good team in place. Several players will return as (now) veterans, and no longer will there be the odd use of playing time for the two primary bigs that (IMHO) may well have cost us at least a couple of wins last year. Next year, we'll have the featured center who will only need someone to sub her out for a some rest.
And the freshmen? Nothing wrong with staying at home (meaning the Northwest) and bringing along talented (but a little green) players, like a certain Oregon player who is now on the coaching staff.
Barring the never wanted injuries, I have high hopes for next year, and very high hopes for the 2024 season.
