Great game until the final 15 minutes. I won’t miss Kiana Williams, that’s for sure.
She and Anna Wilson are terrific defensively. Aleah and Sasha seemed a little worn out towards the end. Paired with the fact that we couldn’t hit a shot to save our lives.
We need a Timea Gardiner type player at the four.

Beavs had 10 TOs in the 2nd half. That's more like we expect to see from them.

Late in the game, only Aleah looks like she can still hang with Stanford's athleticism. Disappointing poise shown by the team to close this game. Really she is 5-16 and cant get an open look. Wilson and Williams made Aleah and Talia look very unathletic. Many people on this board constantly bring up we have to get more athletic to play with top teams At least they’re both seniors. But yes, both are far quicker than anyone OSU has. Besides those two, the athleticism of the guards is about equal. |

I have seen Brink play a few times. She is going to be great as an upper class men. Great Portland area kid

Is Mitrovic hurt? Sorry if someone already reported it. Seems like she’d have to be to not use someone 6’9....especially w a tired team only using 7 players

Yea, bad timing on that, she had just hard to get a good shot and hit it, and seemed to still have some fight while those around here were missing wildly. She promptly had some ugly TOs and joined their ranks. |

54 minutes between Corosdale and Mack for a total of 3 points. 1 for 5 shooting. Not going to beat anybody with that contribution.

Savannah Samuel's layup with 5:41 remaining in 3Q brought OSU to within 1 at 49-48. From that point on Stanford outscored OSU 34-10.

Just when you start feeling good about this team, the 2nd half happened. What the hell was that?! Clunky offensive execution, over dribbling, throw in a bunch of to's and there you have it. Stanford had quick, sharp ball movement around the perimeter that gave them open shots from 3. Beavs too slow to cover the 3 pt shooter. Haley Jones had a nice second half. That gal is quick, plus reads the defense in the lane pretty well. She made some nice buckets in traffic. Shake it off and move on. That's all one can do. I agree they looked pretty gassed in that 4th quarter. That didn't help. |

Stanford went on a 23-2 run that lasted almost 9 minutes during that last dreadful quarter (60-54 to 83-56)

A game of totally different halves by Beavers. Things that were obvious was no offensive leaders. If your offense goes to he'll you will lose your defensive mind set.
Why doesn't Rueck ever try Jones and
Pretrovich together. Like a Brown Jones combo?.Stanford would have had to adjust to this. Change the inside look and allow the perimeter girls have a bigger target to pass to.
Amazing how mental this game can be. Where did the three point shooting go?
We need points taya and other 6'3 girls don't cut it.something has changed not sure why but we give up to easy. Screw Stanford's talent. We beat Colorado and they beat Stanford! Just like in the ducks case Its not talent its execution. That's not on the player s its on the coach to prepare them.
