Yep, OSU loses the game because of an O board for WSU. I think what sticks out in the boxscore is 9-23 shooting by Goodman. Too much reliance on one person. |

What was the play with 5seconds left going to be a prayer shot from 3? In my opinion a poor call from rueck I was hoping for a lob in to Mitrovic, but she wasn't in there. I tuned in at 53-53 and watched Aleah dribble most of the game away. No movement on offense to help her out, but not sure she was really looking to pass. No shame as WSU is a quality opponent, it's just a game I'm used to seeing the Beavers win. |

What in the world was that play call at the end of the first overtime?! I can understand dribbling the ball out until there’s 5 seconds left on the clock. But throwing up a 3-pointer??? We needed ONE point.

Let’s play for future since they aren’t going anywhere. Learned from this ugly season will make different next season with return of KB who can rebound. It’s Covid-19 year anyway. Schedule all messed up. Will be fine in the future. I think we are. |

I just see the girls playing tight... and, unwilling to take open shots .
WSU is all in on every play - offense or defense . How many ‘strips’ did they have off our backside ( minimum of 4 )., that’s a huge point swing in a tight game .
We don’t have the killer mentality this year!
Oh well, better tiles to come .

In years past there was always somebody to do the dirty work like rebounding. This year there is nobody other than Jones. Mitrovic had six boards in only 12 minutes. But you can't rebound from the bench. |

Talk about over reliance. But it seems to work for them. Although Molina was huge in the 4th quarter and OTs. |

Has anyone seen a more stagnant, repetitive offense for 50 minutes? (And we still almost beat a good team.) We need an offensive coordinator, a cleansed clipboard. The players deserve better. Draw up some new plays, Scott, please.

it's just a game I'm used to seeing the Beavers win. Seems like a continuation of last year, they rarely pulled out Ws in the close games. |

Tough OT loss. This is a transition year. and I'm really enjoying seeing the program evolve as it moves ahead.
Most notable is that in 2 complete OT's (10 minutes) today, the ONLY players that saw the court were: Goodman, Corosdale. Simmons, Mitrovic, Jones, and Von Oelhoffen.
Going forward, until the February 2021 season ends (with no post season), those 6 might be the 'first' six next season (+ Samuel & Kampschroeder). No wonder that Faustino left.
I'm of the opinion that neither Mack, nor Subasic should see many minutes going forward. It's all about 2022 at this point- which (if Aleah returns) will include all 6 of those who saw court time during either OT + Greta Kampschroeder & Kennedy Brown, and Samuel. Program is in good shape.

I wonder how good any other team would be of just after the season gets started they have to shut down for a month while everyone else continues to play games and have full practices. While we were shut down they couldn't even practice with a full team, or even enough players to scrimmage without the coaches stepping in. That really hurts a team, especially one that tends to run a complicated system.

There are of other players who can take some of the reliance on Goodman away from her. I don't see that with WSU. That being said, the Beavers definitely had their chances to bag this game and failed. |
