Although many not Be interested, but as stated Destiny did not have a good game, she scored 5 points in 33 min., was 2-7 on FG, 0-2 on 3’s; 1-4 on FTs, 5 Reb, 2 assists, 1 steal. South Salem High’s Evian Westbrook (who WBB Beavs beat when she played for Tennessee) had 19 points on 5-7 3’s, 6 Reb and 7 assists.

Turns out Destiny made a brilliant move. She foresaw that the pandemic would allow HS seniors to play this year and that she'd be benched by late Jan with TVO's arrival.

Wow hell of a game Connecticut versus Arkansas. Destiny no longer the key point in there offense. They have at least 4 girls who are excellent and better ball handlers. But she does start. Cool offense they run. They put two girls out at the edge of court to clear out for these three super one on one players They don't match up with Connecticut but they out manicure them with speed and quickness. Kinda like UCLA DOES OR ARIZONA. Personally Stefanny should have stayed with us. She is free to shoot but they go a different route in there system and isn't really looked upon primarily to score. Interesting coaching by the Arkansas coach. Not shaken by not having a lot of ht.JUST one man's opinion.

I was laughed at by another poster when I noted Destiny was typically the second through fourth option in the Arkansas offense, and tonight, she was certainly not the first or second option. Dungee is a really fun player to watch. She's physical, competes, scores the ball really well, has a great mid-range. Ramirez also caught fire - she's an offensive weapon too. Neighbors definitely has an eye for those scorers like Dungee, Plum, and (to a lesser extent) Melgoza. Slocum was pretty quiet. Definitely a very different role than she would be playing had she stayed at OSU, where she likely would have had a much high FGA and had the ball in her hands far more frequently.
Arkansas is just 2-5 in the SEC, but has defeated Baylor and UConn. Seem like a hard team to gauge. They also have three fifth-year starting guards, which is pretty unusual. If you want to beat Arkansas you either have to exposure their lack of size or slow them down, and UConn did neither.

Yeah, he definitely has a way of getting scorers.
edit--McDonald and Melgoza together for 4 years would've been something to see; Huskies probably still wouldn't have had enough to be competitive w/ the top of the conference, but nobody would've been able to stop that duo

I’m sure Destiny is crying after her team just beat an undefeated UCONN team ranked #3.
