Our team would be better if Destiny was on it? It would also be better if Hailey Van Lith was on it, but, like Destiny, she isn't. Let's just deal with what we have; this is the hand we were dealt, and we either play it or fold.
I have no hard feelings toward Destiny, nor do I particularly have any good feelings toward her anymore. She opted to leave, and my interest in her basketball career went with her. I really don't give a damn how she performs at Arkansas, or anyplace else on her journey.

People are probably hurt so much because at OSU, women's basketball = FAMILY was shoved down our throats so much, that when Destiny left willingly, it hurt deep.

People are probably hurt so much because at OSU, women's basketball = FAMILY was shoved down our throats so much, that when Destiny left willingly, it hurt deep. About 80 percent of the teams across the nation are using the family jingle which has been over played so you are right on that point. The problem is that she did apparently not get along with Dad.
People are more hurt over the change in trajectory of the program than with Destiny leaving. That will be looked back on as the turning point.
Meanwhile the rest of the Pac-12 plays on and with each week getting better.

Scott’s offense was just a little too controlling for Destiny. Arkansas is a team that typically would have 22 FG on 5 assists. Under Scott...you might have 22 FG on 14 assists. I think the free wheeling offense at Arkansas is just what Destiny was looking for. Scott’s offense is nothing like the WNBA!

Destiny's departure does not represent a turning point. In the long run, it will be viewed as just a bump in the road, a contributing factor to one year that will wind up as less than what was hoped for. As I've said several times, this year's team will not be as good as last year's, but next year's will be much better, and the following year's much better than that. Keep the faith.

For anyone who is interested, Destiny and Arkansas are currently taking on UConn on ESPN2. Should be a good one.

Beat me to it, I was about to bump this too. Slocum has barely touched the ball so far.
Arkansas came out firing, but UConn hung w/ them. Once the Hogs' 3's weren't going in, swung in the Huskies favor in a hurry. I could see this being a blowout. Hogs have a punchers chance if they are hot from deep throughout the game, but I doubt it.

What I'm seeing so far... 4200 fans...must be nice. Hope the Beavs have fans next year. More athletic and aggressive than the Beavs/ Nice talent but sloppy basketball. I'm not really sure Arkansas deserves a top 20 ranking, but a win today would help them. A loss today would be number 7. Destiny not doing much at this point...maybe she will pick in up in the second half.

43-41 UConn at the half in a shootout, fun game. Arky is helter skelter and undisciplined, but they can score. Dungee has 15 and Ramirez has 10. Christyn Williams has 12 for UConn in a home coming game.
The Hogs are super aggressive on D. I don't remember Neighbors' Washington teams playing like that. Double on the post every time, and any time someone puts the ball on the floor they are all in going for the steal. Every time. It's working, they've forced 12 TOs.

Hogs on fire to start Q3. 11-0 run. Spreading the floor and driving at will on UConn.

Dungee is pushing off all the time and getting away with it and so the rest of the team follows suit. It doesn't matter if she has the ball or not.
How are the pigs ranked with 6 losses?

Arkansas survives 90-87. Dungee was huge w/ 37 points. UConn (#3) and NC State (#2) both got upset and fell from the ranks of unbeatens today. Louisville has been flirting w/ losing for a while, their turn is coming. There are truly no elite teams this year, everybody looks kinda shaky.
On a side note Bueckers looks pretty damn good for a Fr. She went crazy in the 2nd half and finished w/ 27. Evina Westbrook looks good for the Huskies too.
Slocum hit a big bucket late but it was not a good game for her.

Although many not Be interested, but as stated Destiny did not have a good game, she scored 5 points in 33 min., was 2-7 on FG, 0-2 on 3’s; 1-4 on FTs, 5 Reb, 2 assists, 1 steal. South Salem High’s Evian Westbrook (who WBB Beavs beat when she played for Tennessee) had 19 points on 5-7 3’s, 6 Reb and 7 assists.
