That’s 10 three’s in a row, no misses... pretty darn good.

Same thing you see a lot of up and coming HS players do, move on up to a larger school, more competitive league, etc. Talia did that too. So Adlee goes from :
Trinity Christian High School is a private Christian high school run by Trinity Church of Lubbock, Texas with around 875 students.
To:
Lubbock-cooper High School serves 1,519 students in grades 9-12.

Since Adlee isn't getting the AAU basketball experience this summer, it's probably a good move for her to play along side talented players and play against tougher competition. I haven't checked all the details. I know Lubbock-Cooper has a talented team, so just playing with, and going against them in practice will be valuable as she progresses toward Oregon State. In the competition arena, I'm pretty happy with what this move should bring.
Being off for a year though is tough. I'll be curious to see how her season progresses with the talented group she is playing with. I think ASGR is the only service that had her in the top 100 of the 2022 class. Correct me if I'm wrong. Since she is not playing this summer, I won't be surprised to see her completely left off the list. I know Taylor dropped during the time she was off during her surgery.

Detail on her recovery and “Once a week, Blacklock went through a grinding process based on blood flow restriction (BFR), a grueling workout that stretched her to the limits physically and mentally. “I was doing a lot of stuff that pushed my knee until it was fatigued with the idea of getting me ready for in-game situations,” Blacklock said. “It was all pretty intense, but the BFR was the hardest part. They put a machine on my leg that restricted the blood flow to almost none and I had to work out for 15 minutes. It was a tough physical workout, but it was more of a test of my mental toughness. I kept a trash can next to me in case I had to puke. It definitely let me know how much I want to be back because I had to go to a place where I was motivated to work as hard as I can.”’ Is this a legitimate rehab exercise? Seems a little extreme and not sure about the benefit.

Seems legit. FDA approved. Offered by university hospitals and other high-tier hospitals. The theory is that it forces *all* the muscle fibers to develop, and not just the main ones that ordinary lifting develops.

Damn, I made a point of watching her teams first game last weekend, did not see her, didn't watch the rest, but happy to hear this:
She got a handful of minutes for the Team Lex Breeze last week in a tournament but stepped back from playing more because she won’t officially be cleared until mid-August.

Wishing Adlee the best of luck in her complete rehab.....
Those of you have "ripped" your knee in one form or another, and those of you who have coached players rehabbing from torn knees, know that it's a delicate line between hard core rehabbing "by the rules," and overdoing things and coming back too soon....There's a thin line between dedication and fanaticism when it comes to re-building your torn knee. One you promote, the other you discourage. If you can actually tell the difference!!
Nowadays rehabbing is far more of a science than it was in the '80's and the 90's (what isn't??) but the time-tested problem of the athlete overdoing things and being in too much of a hurry to get their game back to where it was pre-injury is always something you have to guard against....
I'm sure she's on task and on target, but she sounds like the kind of athlete you better keep your eye on or she will be pushing herself beyond her limits....
Not totally sure where I'm going with this, because it's all pretty obvious, but I'll feel a lot better about her knee when it's Christmas and she's played a dozen games without a twinge!!!!🏀🤠 GO BEAVS!!
