Good find beaverwbb fan......If Adlee gets back to 100% from her injury - whatever it may have been - I wouldn't be surprised to see her move up in the Texas rankings before she graduates from high school...It will be fun to follow her journey to Corvallis.... GO BEAVS!!

I may take the time to check out the 7 above her, hard to imagine there are 7 better players in her class, Texas is big I know. Note in this list that 3 of the top 7 are from one school, DeSoto, and they have 7 players in the top 20 ! I smell something fishy, just sayin' www.premierbasketballreport.com/2022

Premier Basketball Report ranks Blacklock 8th among Texans in the class of 2022. I don't want to pretend to be an expert, but even #8 in Texas is too low for her. I'm not sure how healthy she is for this fall, but she has next summer (plus her senior season) to prove me right. Go Adlee! Go Beavs!

Wonder how many basketballs they use during their games?

The top five in that list are all in ESPN/HoopGurlz Top 60. When ESPN expands that list to 100, I expect that Adlee would be in the #80-100 range. Personally, I feel that she's better than that, but regardless, it sure feels good to have two Top 100 recruits committed already. I'm pretty sure we're the only school in the country that can say that.

Adlee's team enters the season ranked #1. I don't know how loaded her team is, but I can't imagine they'd be #1 if Adlee was missing the season. It's hard to get info on the web sometimes, but I'm guessing the ranking voters would be more likely to be in the know on the injury severity.

Well, sad to say, got a message from that reporter in Lubbock , Alexis Cubit and she said "I just talked to Adlee’s coach and can confirm she’s out for the year with an ACL injury."
So, this reporter, without any added prompting from me, remembered I cared about Adlee and followed through, I was impressed !

Trinity Christian’s Blacklock switching to player/coach roleAdlee Blacklock didn’t feel anything. While playing in a summer tournament with Team Lex Breeze in Frisco, Blacklock tore her ACL on July 6, her mother’s birthday. Blacklock said it didn’t physically hurt when she tripped coming off the pick-and-roll, but being on the ground left her somewhat stunned and at a loss for words. After sustaining the injury, Blacklock underwent surgery which ruled out playing the fall basketball season with two-time TAPPS 4A state champions Trinity Christian.

OSU seems to recruit a certain type of player. Adlee seems to be a perfect match!
