This looks to be exactly what the graduate transfer program can be at its best. This was a nice high school player who was never going to be considered for good power 5 conference team. So she goes to a lesser league, does everything right, improves her game tremendously, gives the school the 4 years they bargained for, and finds herself with a year of eligibility left. Lo and behold, a national powerhouse with serious depth issues offers her a chance play with the best in her (probably) last year of competitive basketball. Whether she starts or not (would doubt it), this is a pretty neat, pretty cool thing for her.
Nice story.

The announcer sure has some charisma. Glad to have her join the team. Looking forward to seeing her in the pre-season.

I can definitely see wny the Beavs like her. If she can play the 3 and 4, this is an especially important pick up. Now, looking for a point guard....

You could see from her career stats her shooting ability, but the limited highlights and video I've seen she has a nice ability to pass the ball. Should be a wonderful 3/4 addition for the Beavs.

Pretty impressive!

The video shows pretty good passing skills, and she did lead the team in assist. Considering her assist were 2.4 per game, they obviously didn't have a great assist leader on the team. What I like is her consistent career. Coming off an acl injury, she didn't do a lot her first year, but the last two years have shown consistent play and improvement. Overall, watching her video, she looks like the kind of player the Beavs coaches like, and obviously they did.
Truthfully, I don't know if she will start, but I would expect her to get 25-32 minutes per game, and with her ability to score and hit the three, coming off the bench to spark some scoring might be perfect. As it looks right now, the Beavs don't look to have a lot of bench scoring, but a year of improvement, and some new players coming in, it's possible a couple players will fill that role.
I do like this pick up, and hope they can add a good ball handling guard as well.

I never watch the videos, as they don't show the whole picture. You ever seen a player video that included her putting up an air ball on a free throw, being called for travelling 3 times in a row, winding up at the peak of her jump before the shooter she's defending has even left the ground, or throwing a lazy pass directly to a member of the other team? Me neither.

She should have two years of eligibility remaining, if she chooses.

She should have two years of eligibility remaining, if she chooses. How do you figure? She redshirted her freshman year and then played the next three years. That leaves her one more year.
