OSU seniors have not lost to WSU during their careers. Cougs will have two chances in five days to change that.
Beavs hope to continue recent trend of limiting number of turnovers. Makes a huge difference in getting more shots than opponent. Protect the basketball and good things will happen for the Beavs.

We definitely need a good recruit that can hit a post player at post.
Our girl guards are looking but don't quite know how to pass that ball, somerimes. Their are several kinds of passes. They i.e. primarily the lob. There a bounce pass and straight chest pass. Side arm pass. Left and right one hand passes.

Well Arizona just lost at home to Cal, so if OSU loses at home to Wazzu it won't be the worst loss anyone had today.

Good production from 3 of the guards today. Hopefully they can duplicate that in upcoming games.

Morris looked good in 10 minutes with 5 points. Mik with 7 rebounds. Needs just 9 to match Ruth Hamblin as OSU's all time leading rebounder. |

Maddie needs to shoot the dang ball. Really stops the offense. Not very well played game. Gave to play them again. Really like Brown. Very concerned about the spotty shooting and not finishing when pressed. Taking the call away from basket is the wrong thing to do.

We played a team that shot well over 60% from the floor in the first half and was only a point behind at the break. That is really good if you ask me.
We hit a couple snags opening the second half giving Molina a few open looks. The girls figured that one out on their own and shut the cougs down for the test of the third. Aleah started calling the defenses in the fourth and that puzzled wsu, they didn't know if it was going to be a zone or man to man.

Did anyone recognize the two recruits the coaches were talking to? Parents were with them. One maybe 6'3 and the other a little under 6'?

Team played much better this game. Good ball movement and the ball handlers attacked the basket when the opening presented themselves rather than trying to make it happen exclusively off the dribble. If they continue to play this type of ball they might do well in the Pac 12 tourn. Both Kentucky and Depaul lost and they were the teams right ahead of then in the rankings so they have really good shot at moving up to at least 15 which will help their chances of hosting. TA&M also lost but they were at 12 and they lost to #1.
