Why make this announcement now? Why not wait until AFTER you win a natty? Sabally very clearly addressed this if you read the article or listen to the interview. She wanted to end the speculation and distraction about whether she is going or staying. No thanks

That's an interesting decision. Maybe she's drawn to playing professionally back in Europe too. She'd likely be Pac-12 POY and a possible #1 WNBA pick next year, plus the star on next year's Duck team, had she decided to stay. Makes lot of sense. Sabally will be one of three Ducks players selected within the first five 2020 WNBA Draft on April 17, based upon ESPN's latest projections that were released yesterday that include Sabally and Chennedy Carter as early entrants. The PAC-12 has four of the projected top 11 picks in the first round. We have been watching these players develop and excel over the past four seasons. Next year's WBB Civil War will have a much different look.
