Quote from ESPN: "I hope they remember me as a part of something great, and as a part of the team that brought home the national championship for the first time," Sabally said. "I'm leaving a great Sabally behind me [Nyara], and she's going to do great things and she's going to carry our name strong. I hope they will see me in her as well, but don't compare her too hard. Because she will have her own journey too." Wow. Counting those chickens before they hatch there. Hardly. ”I hope...”

Boley is also draft-eligible, but won't get picked because she's pretty one-dimensional. One heck of a shooter, though, when she's hot. We carried on at a high level after the Weisner/Hamblin/Hunter/Hanson class graduated, and after Syd left the following season. It will be very interesting to see how uo does in the future, if they can sustain it. It seems as if they will be stacked at guard (almost overstacked) and very thin up front; Prince and the younger Sabally have potential but a pretty big history of injury. I suspect he'll go the Altman route and take about 3-4 grad transfers. They only have 1 scholarship left. They did sign 2 five star forward/centers.

I wonder if Destiny will follow suit, she has to be in the first round picks for WNBA If Destiny received some assurance that she would be a first round draft pick, then she would be more likely to be an early entrant for the 2020 WNBA Draft on April 17. Carter of Texas A&M will likely make an announcement similar to Sabally between now and April 10. Mock drafts have had Slocum going anywhere from #7 to not being selected, likely due to the uncertainty of Slocum opting for early entry. It is also likely that Slocum has been contacted via the mail by a prospective sports agent, noting that Slocum is draft-eligible in 2020. She can't sign with an agent while she still has eligibility remaining or that eligibility could be compromised. However, it is safe to assume that someone has made her very aware of her options and mock draft projections, whether it be her parents or an attorney/prospective sports agent who would like to represent her in the near future.

What is Destiny’s major? I wonder if a degree is a priority for her?

I really hope I'm correct, I just don't see Destiny leaving this year.

Losing their big three is huge! No one knows how a top high school recruit will adjust to the college game. A couple years ago,uo lost most of their highly regarded recruiting class to transfer...its truly a crap shoot.

Wow. Counting those chickens before they hatch there. Hardly. ”I hope...” If the ucks make the national final game, win or lose I would expect Mark Campbell to be offered a head coaching opportunity. And if it is from a prestigious, well supported school I would expect he would take it.

I really hope I'm correct, I just don't see Destiny leaving this year. Hate to bring this up, but would Destiny leaving be that terrible? I'd rather the new frosh be indoctrinated to the "old" style with less dribble and ball stagnation. It's not all on Destiny, but her style of play is more freestyle. Anyway... I'm personally all good either way. Just saying, the two frosh, Aleah, Jaz isn't a terrible back court. Good size, versatility, and 4 good shooters and three look to be able drive/penetrate.

I really hope I'm correct, I just don't see Destiny leaving this year. I love Destiny and I expect she will come back for her senior season. We will desperately need her leadership.

Why make this announcement now? Why not wait until AFTER you win a natty?

Why make this announcement now? Why not wait until AFTER you win a natty? Sabally very clearly addressed this if you read the article or listen to the interview. She wanted to end the speculation and distraction about whether she is going or staying.
