Stanford is not that consistent this year. The Beevs should have beaten them.
As to this game all I can say is WOW!

CWS game two anyone? Of course not as much at stake.

TV announcers had no idea that the ball was going back to OSU at the end. Totally clueless of them when it was obvious the ref had called the bad inbounds play by ASU. Were they calling the game at Gill? Many times I would notice the announcers not be aware of what happened when they're calling the game from the Bay Area. Unless Joan Bonnavici was a very life like AI on her halftime & postgame interviews they were in da house. I didn't see the ASU turnover on the inbounds and neither did the announcing team. edit: I mixed up MM & Joan Bonnavici. Which is not easy to do. Because Mary Murphy is paired with Running Ann Schotz.

How did they get the ball back after they tied it? An ASU player had her foot still inbounds when she inbounded the ball. Refs got it right. I initially thought the same but i don’t think that was the call. I think they gave them the inbound... maybe too close to call... but I don’t think anyone touched it... so the ball is turned over and returns to the inbound location.

I saw the ref signal OSU ball, but I assumed there's be a huddle and rule that a timeout happened first. Rough for the inbounding player, that's just a panic response.

Somebody will post the last 2.9 seconds on here, I'm sure. Hope so. Like everyone else, I was so excited when Kat scored I stopped watching - thought it was going to overtime since ASU didn't have a time out left.
It was huge that they put that 0.3 seconds back on the clock, giving ample time for Mik to get the shot off. Even with a friendly Gill clock operator, I don't think she could have done it with just 0.1 second to catch and shoot.
Both those inbounds plays were things of beauty. Maddie could not possibly have done that any better. What a win! I'm drained; imagine how the girls feel.

That last turnover was a flat-out giveaway by ASU. But did the Beavers ever take advantage. How about the execution on those last two inbounds plays?
The last one looked like the play that McWilliams scored on a couple of years ago to put the game into OT against UCLA.

It looked to me like Riley Richardson just missed the ball and it went out of bounds.

The one to tie it was the same they ran against, I think Baylor, with Marie passing to Kat.

Wow!! What a win! Tough W on our court against a team we should be much better than. I’ll take it, that’s for sure. I hope our girls can get their legs back for a likely all out challenge from UA on Sunday. I still just don’t think we’re playing as good as we can. Anyone have video of Brown’s injury? I wasn’t watching yet when it happened. Go Beavs! You do know that ASU has done something this year that OSU hasn't: Beat Oregon. Something the national team and UConn couldn't do either.

They are tough and relentless. I missed the last turnover. Glad we do not see them until PAC 12 playoffs.

Weak side screen with back door cut and OOB plays just ain't basketball. Just takes the individual athleticism out of the equation. Heh-heh.
