A confident Aleah makes this team a ton better, no question. Scoring from a lot of different spots. I don’t like Taylor only raking 3 shots, but maybe CU game-planned denying her the ball - she has been the consistent scoring threat lately, so it would be a logical thing to do. Teams were game-planning Aleah last year when she had a few games like this, and they might do that again if she keeps that up.
10 players scored after having a few games of multiple starters not scoring ... I hope this means a turning point if staying the course, believing in the system and getting confident, because this is the team that is very dangerous in the postseason.

6 days ago in Boulder, Buffs took Stanford to OT, before losing. Transitive doesn't work... OSU already lost to Furd at home. Not saying anything "Works" - just pointing out that the Buffs have been (very recently) tough at home.

Nice bounce back and road win. Shoot the ball well and good things tend to happen, all else being equal. Funny how that works.

What, are you folks thinking we're just going to mail in the rest of the season after the recent less than wonderful stretch? Not going to happen. We are decidedly better than Colorado, which is 3-5 in conference, and, a few days from now, will be 3-7. We beat them by 12 just 3 1/2 weeks ago when they shot 31.9%. I expect a similar result Thursday night, after which I'll start a website, and you guys can cite my oh so wise prognostications. Will let you know when I have the website up and running. By the way, Colorado shot 26.6% this time.

For those who complain about living and dying by the three, and how they can't count on the three to save them blah blah blah. The Beav's are 6th in the Pac-12 in three point attempts. You can't get any more average. And Jones etc didn't get many attempts because Colorado was jamming the inside, which left the outside wide open. And a whole lot of made 3's. Colorado counted on the Beav's still being cold outside and found that in this game they were wrong.

The stat that stands out for me is 12 offensive rebounds on 25 missed shots.

Colorado counted on the Beav's still being cold outside and found that in this game they were wrong. I think it was more along the lines that they would miss threes and then keep throwing them up. Doesn't matter if they are six, twelfth, or first. They weren't shooting well from the outside. The Beavers shot well from the outside in this game but that doesn't translate to any upcoming games. It is great they hit the outside shots today but doesn't mean much in the future. Lets see if they can keep it up against stiffer competition or against teams that dare them to like Colorado.

+23 on rebounds was probably enough to overcome the -12 on TOs, but the +26% on FG% certainly will get the job done in general. Those deltas weren't there in during the losing streak.

The win was needed. Very good rebounding by the Beavs and its quality defense are sustainable. The great three-point shooting, though a very good thing, is not sustainable long term but certainly was a difference tonight.
Brown has become a difference maker on the defensive boards. Would have liked to see Jones get more touches and shots (3) tonight. Will need more of the inside game going forward.
On to Utah for Saturday to try to complete a conference weekend road sweep.

Did not watch the entire game, just 4th quarter, due to other commitment - but, liked the better ball movement and getting shots and plays off quicker. Hate to see us dribble out the clock and/ / or dribble into the defense where there is zero chance for a shot or the ability to pass. Obviously , not a consistent problem - just against the tenacious D. Also seems to freeze up our 3 ball shooting ! Keep it going , GO BEAVERS

Nice to be able to relax as a Beaver fan and enjoy the final quarter without worrying about the outcome. Ball movement to get open threes for Goodman and Slocum was improved. Goodman's elite shooting has returned for the past two games. She is 10/12 from distance during those games.

Just noticed that Utah went 16-23 on 3s in their win at CU. I guess Boulder is the place to go to find your shooting touch! They were full-on 'chuckers' last night, going 9-35 from 3s, bringing them a tidy ~30pt loss. Had they gone 18-35, it would have been a game. Need to make sure they don't get into any rhythm.
