Watching ASU @ UA as a precursor might be a mistake. Devils just make everything SO UGLY. Leading 23-20 at half. They just irritate me every time I watch them. Go cats. Yep. Watch how they double. Watch how they screen. The refs are placed in a difficult decision determining what to call and what to let go. CTT wants an explanation every time a call goes against ASU. Arizona just about has this. Up 7 w/ a minute left. Ryan has been great but has had almost no help. More balanced scoring for UA.
edit--damn, ASU won't go away; UA was up 10 but it's down to 4; Ryan can't miss, she has 25. 43 seconds left, seems like last minutes has taken about 5 minutes.

If two of the veteran Beav guards have a good game I think they will win. The awesomeness that is supposed to be the Ducks hasn't struck me yet this season. I'd say it'll take more than two Beavers. Who knows how ucks will play? Maybe they're overly pumped? But, it'll take (4) Beavers in double digits to make this a game. Have (3) near it, with some D... they can win. But, two with 20 and no one else in doubles isn't going to cut it. IMHO I didn't say two Beavers, I said two of their veteran guards. But the results make us both right. |
