The fact that 12k+ attended the game is accomplishment enough. The Ducks have created a very strong WBB brand.
Very good for women's basketball. Filling an arena that size will always include some level of celebrity among the fans. Having attended CW games there in the past, it is truly a big deal now and helps strengthen our rivalry.

this ‘Sparta’ persona, just doesn’t ‘get it’. We’ve all got political views, and I’d hazard a guess they span a very wide spectrum. We love Beaver WBB (and other OSU teams) totally outside of politics. And that’s one of the many reasons we love them - because we can leave that ‘other world’ behind for a few hours. |
