I know it's blasphemy to some here. Maybe ucks are really good at home? You don't outscore a very good team that badly (51-18) in that amount of time (less than 20 min) without crazy good talent and team work. i heard on KLCC morning news that they played in front 12,000 fans. Holy Moly !! |

I think Stanford will be doubting themselves and that it will be a tight game that both Scott and the girls are good it.

The way OSU is playing against Cal right now, Stanford can beat them even if they don't play well.
Something is wrong w/ the Beavs. They peaked in November.

Brown went to the bench w/ 3 fouls and Cal stopped scoring.
The rest of the league might've got a big break. UCLA and their easy schedule are hitting a snag--Onyenwere is out with an injury and they're down double digits to USC at the half.

A lot of young players mixed into both teams. I'm hoping ours will have more composure.

Tara knows how to play the beavs. I expect Stanford to throttle us. Hope I am wrong. Tara will likely game plan to take away and limit Pivec and Slocum. It will be a very good thing if Goodman's shooting touch comes back tomorrow. Now is the time for that elite talent to return. Having Slocum handle the point duties as regularly as she did against Cal yesterday may allow Goodman that extra split second that she needs to set her feet and get her three-point shot off. |
