MuffM's refusal to reign in Arike Ogunbowale leaves me with no liking for her. But to take joy in her sadness/distress? No, just no.

Arike should have been benched several times for her on court behavior. Tripping players. Throwing elbows. Pushing players down. She is a real piece of.....
Sheppard should also have had to sit out a year like Destiny and Erin Boley.
Sorry but I lost respect for mm years ago and am unable to give her any sympathy.

I remember all those coaches ND used to beat by 34 breaking down and crying in their postgame interviews ... wait, I don't. What comes around, goes around. I hope ND loses by 50 sometime this season.

Little miss Muffet sat at the press conference crying the blues all day. The losses keep mounting, the leprechaun is frowning while her tournament bid slips away.

What are her facts going into a new season? Did something happen to her returning players during off season, ie transfer or graduation?. How many starters came back.? Rule out basic questions she has proven herself. So did she have specials circumstances that is causing this? Which could happen to anybody? I don’t understand their demise.

I heard it was a couple of transfers and one off year (a big wiff) in recruiting. They are dire straights to have a top 5 recruiting class next year or she will be spending some time in the nut house. Can't afford two off years in a row and not fill the pipeline.

Graduated Top 5 in minutes played... top 5 scorers / 80.4 of their 88.6 pts/game... 165 of their 188 made 3-pointers... 144 of their 199 blocked shots... 1262 of their 1726 rebounds... 698 of 804 assists... 720 of 827 free throw attempts. No returner this season averaged 3 shots/game... or 4pts/g... or 3 reb/g last year! A LOT of holes to fill no matter who you recruit.

Sounds like the team Wayne inherited from CR.

I don't know who's still with the program, but:
In 2017, Notre Dame brought in the number 30 (Patterson) and 56 (Vaughn) recruits.
In 2018, they landed # 27 (Gilbert),38 (Nixon), 68 (Cosgrove), and 73 (Prohaska)
In 2019, they got #4 Brunelle.
Their seniors this year either transferred (Boley) or left early (Young), but they should be better than this.

MuffM's refusal to reign in Arike Ogunbowale leaves me with no liking for her. But to take joy in her sadness/distress? No, just no. Not a personal criticism but just a comment. It’s always amusing to see the interchangeable applications of “rain”, “rein” and “reign” Rain = Precipitation that falls from the sky. Rein(s) = Leather straps used by a rider or teamster to control horses. Figuratively, to control an otherwise unruly force. Reign = The tenure of a Monarch. Figuratively, the tenure of any monarch-like dominant person.
