I can understand fans' ire in how Arike was allowed to conduct herself, especially for those fans who saw what Arike did in Vancouver in November 2018 when she cheap shotted Janessa twice in that game and got called for one of them. Most observers agree that Arike should have been ejected by the refs for her flagrant foul in that tournament championship game that could have signficiantly hurt Janessa.
To McGraw's credit, she agreed to a home-and-home deal with Oregon State that raised our program's profile. She also always spoke highly of Coach Rueck and our players to the media.
I like what she has done for the WBB game and take little pleasure in watching her team struggle this season. What she was able to accomplish in 2018 when her squad suffered so many torn ACLs is memorable.
