So you do or don't think she is a great athlete and basketball talent Serena Williams is a great athlete, Lindsey Vonn is a great athlete, Jackie Joyner-Kersee is a great athlete... si is a good athlete that happens to be a basketball player on a team that allows her to shoot 25% of the teams attempts and makes 45% of those attempts - it's obvious phil has invested a lot of money in her and has positioned her to be the company's female MJ at the expense of her team and teammates success... Yeah, it’s all Phil. The SI jealousy on this board is childish. Oh, and she has another “manufactured” triple double today. Please. |

Definitely a great basketball talent. Her vision and anticipation are extraordinary. She doesn't seem especially athletic, though. Not fast or quick, doesn't jump well. Unlike Mik, a state-champion runner and Pac-12 quality thrower, I can't picture SI excelling in another sport. I think Mik would also be one great soccer and softball player. That's a great answer except the comparison to Pivec. Can we not consider the talent of athletes without comparing then to Beaver athletes? Because I'm giving an example of a great WBB player who also happens to be a great athlete and who everyone on this board is extremely familiar with. Would you rather I compare her to a player on Boston College who nobody knows a thing about? |

I don't consider you in this group because you at least attempted to be objective. But Geez Louise, some people need to grow up. Personally I'm really glad she didn't choose OSU. My dislike of her comes from watching her in person many games of her freshman and sophomore seasons. Her antics get old fast. Throwing towels and warmups, stomping around and pouting when she doesn't get her way. Yelling and getting in the face of her teammates is bad but she also does it with her coaches. And there is all the flopping around. And yes I have met her several times at their fast break club meetings. |
