Yeah - Sabrina is all about camera time and angles. Mik is all about hitting a big, big shot and then hustling back on defense , so she can grab another rebound ! Also, scoring question, several times last night - Mik created an extra possession by tipping the ball out to another teammate. She, of course, never takes possession, however without her tip outs , the ball would have gone over to the Wildcats. Does Mik get a rebound in these situations ? Geez, Louise, you're sounding like the pimply boy who got turned down for the Prom. Ionescu is a great athlete. Why must you denigrate her? It's as if -- to recognize any of the feats of a Beaver woman, you've got to take a dig at SI. Pivec did what she did. It was a great play. Few would have been able to pull it off. Like that. Well , how often have you used that stupid high school line on here before ? Or did you just steal it from someone else cause you thought it was so 'cute' ? I prefer Mikayla by a loooong shot and you can love on the ducks and Sabrina all you want... there , feel better ? I am waiting for your next 'original' thought. |

Best final seconds out of bounds play I’ve seen was against Ralph’s team in an ncaa elimination game. 3 secs to go, we had just scored to go ahead by one, opponent threw the ball full length to the top of the key where their tallest player in a crowd leaped up and directed a tip to a player breaking in from the left side for the wide open layin and the game.A planned well executed play. Broke our hearts again.

She is good at getting 'manufactured' triple doubles. Other than that, she is just one of many, many 'good' women's basketball players . The term 'great' is not really applicable until someone establishes how great is defined . Does she lead the country in any category besides assists ? Do Centers normally have high shooting percentages ?
You probably also believe that Justin Herbert was great, just because you heard it from talking heads .If I believed everything I heard from those clowns, I could probably be brainwashed into believing their hype too . I don't.
I have eyes and I can make a conclusion on my own. You are free to disagree, just as I am free to have an opinion. Some will form an opinion similar to yours, some will form their own opinion similar to mine. Big Deal ! So, why not just get allow a little to and fro ?
Or, do you want to shut down any discussion or others opinions because you are the final say ? I am guessing the latter .

What amazes me about Sabrina is her uncanny ability to sink running off-balance mid range shots. I’ve never seen a player with such accuracy in those situations. She’s certainly one of the great players in PAC-12 conference history. Is she a good team player? Not in my opinion. Is she a good example for how to conduct yourself when things don’t go your way? Not in my opinion. Is she a good person? Probably. My judgments are entirely from a basketball standpoint from what I’ve seen on the court. You’re welcome to your opinion. |

Definitely a great basketball talent. Her vision and anticipation are extraordinary. She doesn't seem especially athletic, though. Not fast or quick, doesn't jump well.
Unlike Mik, a state-champion runner and Pac-12 quality thrower, I can't picture SI excelling in another sport. I think Mik would also be one great soccer and softball player.

So you do or don't think she is a great athlete and basketball talent Serena Williams is a great athlete, Lindsey Vonn is a great athlete, Jackie Joyner-Kersee is a great athlete... si is a good athlete that happens to be a basketball player on a team that allows her to shoot 25% of the teams attempts and makes 45% of those attempts - it's obvious phil has invested a lot of money in her and has positioned her to be the company's female MJ at the expense of her team and teammates success... |

Geez, it's amazing that people want to have a fan site that is limited by ONE single question. The process towards finding an answer is comprised of many different questioning approaches . My favorite is the 5 why's - look it up. Reason I like it, deep dive analytic. Anything else, just remains an opinion - which I also do not have a problem with - as long as other areas are explored.
The initial question was 1.4 seconds, 3 pointer ( that would be Mikayla ) The discussion centered around Mikaylas clutch shot. Subsequently, it's about how one of the Wildcats could catch an inbounds pass, take dribble and get set to shoot in that very limited amount of clock time. I learned some things ( when you aren't learning, you are unteachable).
Then, logically, the discussion moved to competitor comparisons - I love seeing the evolving and different perspectives .
If you don't - Fine ! If others do , so much the better !
