Thanks for the heads-up 2ndGenBeaver - -before your post I was unaware of the live streaming..... From Game Notes: "Live video of both Oregon State games will be streamed via OSUBeavers.com." GO BEAVS !! I went to the OSUBeavers.com site, and haven't been able to locate anything stating that there is a OSU WBB game to be streamed? Has anyone else found it? You can get to the OSU streaming either from the schedule or the news about the Hawaii games. It won't start until the game does. Hope this helps. |

Hot start, then ice cold. Need to start knocking those 3s in. Getting open looks, but the shooters aren't hitting them.

The guy doing the video does not know what he is doing. His is too close to the action. He has to move the camera too much to keep up with the action which distorts the image. I think he is trying to get close up actions, but you need a special camera to do that. Watching this makes me want to smake him in the head. Somebody needs to square him away during half time. This is just ridiculous. The best video comes from as high in the gym that you can get. You get closer via telescopic.

Finally warming up a bit. Jones was carrying them, she has 17. Goodman w/ a pair of 3's and Slocum hit one. Stretched the lead to 42-24, was annoyingly staying around 10 points for quite a while (and OSU scored the first 10 points of the game).

Jones has 17 pts/10 boards, Mik has 11, Slocum 9. Brown has 8 reb. Huge 32-8 rebounding advantage. Keeping the TOs under control w/ only 5.

Our high screen game still needs improvement - both of our freshmen bigs seem to have happy feet when setting screens, and our guards don't set them up that well, nor do they let the screen set before making their move or moves - I hold my breath waiting for a moving screen call (luckily none tonight).
Prior bigs, not as light on their feet, were better at this facet of the game, but our guards could help in this department as well.
Other than that - not much to complain about :-).

Tudor has hit a pair of 3's this quarter. Beavs are scoring easily, but giving up some fairly easy looks on the other end. 70-41 most of the way thru Q3. This has been the Jones show, 25 points and 13 reb.
