Getting back to the interviews posted above, Coach Walz is obviously a well thought of Coach. He's coached the US National team, etc. I've never been a fan of his though, and prefer the SR style of coaching and running a basketball program. I'll say this, and a number of you may disagree, but from what I've seen of HVL, I think she is perfect for the Walz system and I don't think she fits as well on an SR team. Don't get me wrong, she is talented enough to make a difference wherever she plays, but I just think Louisville under Walz is a good team for her.....Now that I said that, just watch, she'll transfer out after her freshman year.

It is common knowledge that when you play at ND you never get a fair shake from the refs.

53-51 ND at halftime. Did the coaches meet before the game and agree to play no defense?
ND is really struggling this year. This would actually be a bad loss for DePaul. UConn just annihilated ND this weekend.

Little miss muffet is paying the price for the last couple years. Shephard should not have been allowed to play immediately after she transferred. Ogumbawaly, however it is spelled, getting away with several cheapshots.

Notre Dame’s freshman guard has a Mik-esque stat line: 22 points 15 rebounds. Pretty hard to get 15 boards when the 2 teams combine for over 200 points - lot of balls going through the hoop, not so many caroming off. |
