We would too if we had the same population base and gave away free tix at wiener hut !
Shelby's obsession continues.
I do find it amusing that you go into stores in Corvallis and get wonderful opportunities to get freebie tickets to Duck games.

If you think that was intentional, you’ve obviously never played basketball. That happens often without being intentional. The girl was coming down for a rebound. It’s not like she just put her elbow in her grill for no reason. I’ve played enough to have an educated opinion. The MSU player knew where her elbow was and where Mik’s face was and was not concerned about them being occupying the same space. That is why I use the term “not unintentional”. Yes, I’m sure she knew where Mik’s face was when she was looking up at the ball to get a rebound. Maybe Mik also “intentionally” hit their player in the side of the head. Give it up.

It’s just sports, man. AKA “Entertainment”.

Interesting - at about the 3 minute mark, the question to SR about going to zone.......about as close to disgust (not quite the right term - disappointed? unsatisfied?) as I have seen..... "I told the team - they are on pace for 80......and I don't know how to win games when the other team scores 80......we don't just outscore people, we make other teams do what we want them to do, not just follow them around.......and we are just following them around. So far this season we have given up big numbers to some players....." Seems like we are still looking for that "defensive stopper", and he is right - most games an opposing player has "gone off" on us. This could come back to haunt us when we get to the Pac-12. A player "going off" could mean 50 points. Also, he mentions he hasn't fallen in love with this year's rendition of the zone yet, and I would agree......while it confused Missou State for a while, I think we have seen it better executed by teams with more seniority in the paint (no surprise there). Can't wait for us to get to those levels of execution, because this team could clearly be pretty good at it. Go Beavers!

Agree about the concern of teams top players having big games against us. McDonald just went for 44 against Texas and the Longhorns got rolled. www.espn.com/ncw/recap?gameId=401176841Would hate to see her do that vs. OSU

I don't receive CBS-SN so really applaud you posting this !! Pick it up at about 8:50 for the lead up to (and then moment of) Taya's heart-breaking injury.

Call me impressed. Missouri State is going to reek havoc in the NCAA Playoffs. Gonzaga too. I believe both are capable of getting to Elite 8.
