46-31 Beavs lead at the half.
19-4 run to close the half.
I think DePaul may be a better shooting team than they’ve shown so far. They’ve missed a lot of open shots.

One of the DePaul players already has 4 fouls, if I heard that right Belkeja and Stonewall both have 3.

Say what you want about turnovers, which do need to be cleaned up, that was the best half by the Beavs this season....Refs having a tough time.....great seeing Taya and Kat....Depaul does a lot of hand checks that are really arm checks and more, sometimes they are called for fouls, but sometimes not. I could be wrong, but I think Depaul planned heavily on stopping Mik. Can't blame them for that.

Jazz was playing sloppy, she’s a little careless with her passes. She sure is a gazelle out there though.

Overall great first half. TOs started mounting, pressure wasn't bothering them to start the game, had a cumulative effect.
Jones and Brown combined for 24 points on 11-15 shooting and 9 boards, DePaul didn't have an answer for them.

They are not beating anyone with size unless they shoot 45%+. They have made OSU's m2m defense look like swiss cheese at times. But, they've probably missed 4+ wide open 3s and 5+ shots at the rim... many not highly contested. But, playing 6" taller in the paint is countering the horrible ball handling. Other than the frosh I think OSU is 7/18 with 15 turnovers!

DePaul had slightly more fouls called against them (9-7) in the half, but should've been a much bigger disparity.

OSU actually gets away with a lot of offensive pushing, extending the elbow past 90° when dribbling under pressure. One of the better called physical games I've attended in a while. The refs letting them play within reason and flow of the game not being interrupted.
