Greta will finally kick off her senior season tomorrow (free stream included in the link) -- 7:00 PM CT: I started watching in the 2nd quarter and she wasn’t in the game. She started the second half but quickly got a foul (her 4th) after a bucket, an assist and a turnover. She came back and played in the fourth and didn’t contribute much. Her team won by about 10, but it was a rocky start to the season for her. She did look fluid, strong and athletic, but I am not sure about her speed and quickness. I hope more games will be streamed so we can get a better look at her skills. |

Gotta say, that was the worst game I've seen her play. I've watched a lot and her fouls (HS refs though so  ) and I saw her make two mistakes in a row, never before! So rare to see her do one silly thing much less two back to back. I believe she will be the closest thing to Mik we have seen since or before, a blue collar player, solid at every aspect of the game, wise beyond her years. Not super quick, but clever, and yes, strong, takes contact well. So yeah, watch some more, see what I see. |

Yes, that was in fact Greta's career low (seven points). She struggled with foul trouble which was unusual, then seemed to be pressing with a bunch of mistakes and turnovers. A very un-Greta-like performance and one that she'll surely bounce back from.

The game was instead on NFHS. Those sites usually put games on on-demand. I’ll post a link as I find one.
