I tried to glean some info about game-streaming from Steve Gress, see if he would use his contacts, but...nothing, he doesn't know, said basically "they'll do what they'll do and we find out on the website", he did offer that Katie Mavis from OSU Ideation is on the trip so..maybe some video bits from her ?!?

It'll come down to Coach Rueck. If he wants the practice games streamed, they will be. If not, they won't. I'm not sure from a coach's standpoint, why he'd want to web stream his practices.

Apparently these gals are too young to suffer from jet lag.

I assume/hope that they will be able to see Pompeii since it's only about 15 miles from Naples.... OsuBeaversThe team enjoyed a bruschetta and pizza tasting at the Naples City Center, before embarking on a walking tour that featured views of multiple castles, a look at Naples' main square and a scenic view of the Italy coast as well as Mount Vesuvius. After the tour, the squad had some free time to explore before enjoying dinner as a team.

I heard today that the Beavs will not be practicing as a team while in Italy. The team will play four games without shooting or training in between the games. The only form of conditioning for the players will be the walking that they do each day while sightseeing as well as what the players do on their own with respect to pushups or using any hotel fitness rooms. For several of the players who work on some aspect of their games nearly every day, going days without shooting a basketball or working on their skills will seem a bit foreign to them.

I don't think they can practice as a team. They used up all of their allowed practices prior to leaving for Italy didn't they?

The tournament in Hawaii last year, it seemed like the team was in vacation mode. During the regular season I want to see them buckle down and focus on the games, but for this trip I'm perfectly fine with them having fun and enjoying the experience and not worrying too much about the outcome of the games.

I don't know, I thought they played pretty well. Just ran into too much Chennedy Carter vs Texas A&M (26-8, NCAA Sweet 16) in a 6 point loss. In their other game they crushed EWU by 48.

I thought they didn't look sharp against EWU. It was a blowout, but not one of their better games. The first half against Texas A&M was really bad. If they hadn't dug themselves such a deep hole they would've won the game. Certainly only my opinion, but my impression while watching both games was that they had been enjoying too much beach time and weren't focused on the games.
