Just figured we can start a thread to put together as many pieces of the non-conference schedule as possible.
So far we have:
11/9 vs. UC Irvine 11/10 or 11/11 vs. Pacific or UMKC 11/14 vs. DePaul, Miami (OH), Drexel, or Davidson 11/17 vs. Oklahoma, Prairie View A&M, UAB, South Alabama, Boise State, Portland State, Missouri State, or Texas A&M - CC 12/18 vs. Northern Arizona, BYU, or San Jose State 12/19 vs. Northern Arizona, BYU, or San Jose State

I hope you're not right abut Game #2 of the WNIT being EITHER Nov. 10 or 11.... I just booked a flight for the 11th assuming we'd play on that date!! YIIIIIKES..... Playing game # 1 on the 9th I just assumed the Beavs would not play on the 10th.....Hopefully this will get figured out before too long... P.S. I'm hoping we get some kind of non conference powerhouse game GO BEAVS !! --------------------------

On the other side of the bracket, all of the first round games are on the 8th, so I'd assume they will play their second round games on the 10th, while us and DePaul/Miami (OH), who play on the 9th, will have our next game on the 11th.

Not the Beavs, but UCLA has released their schedule. It looks like this year, they are just going for the 11 wins. No super big names on their schedule. uclabruins.com/news/2019/7/30/ucla-womens-basketball-releases-2019-20-non-conference-schedule.aspxAs far as conference schedule, the Pac-12 has released the Men's conference weekly pairings, they just haven't released the entire conference schedule. I'm guessing the women's pairings will be released soon. The Beaver men only play UCLA, USC, Washington and Washington St once. note...Colorado and Ariz St have also released their non-conference schedule for those interested. I'm not sure yet about the rest of the Pac.

Really excited to see Pacific this year. They have Valerie Higgins and Loretta Kakala, both really highly ranked.

I've been waiting for someone to bring up Pacific....If I were a Pacific fan I'd be VERY excited about the talent on this year's team..... What follows is an edited (by me) blurb from their WBB website...
……WNIT PRESEASON info
Pacific University
Pacific returns all but one starter next season including soon to be junior guard Valerie Higgins who led the WCC in double-doubles and steals and was second in the Conference in scoring.
Soon to be junior forward Brooklyn McDavid will look to continue to build on what has been a great start to her career. She's currently second all-time at Pacific in offensive rebounds per game and her 187 made field goals last season were the seventh-most in a season in program history.
Jessica Blakeslee will be back for her senior year as well. She brings with her a career .367 field goal percentage from three-point land which is the seventh best in program history.
Pacific will also look forward to having four players eligible to play this season that weren't available last season due to NCAA transfer rules including redshirt freshman center Retta Kakala, who was a McDonald's All-American at Manteca High School.
In addition, eligible this year are Colorado State transfers Callie Kaiser and Sofie Tryggedsson and Utah transfer Jordan Cruz. -------------- So, yeh....They've got a good looking roster....I'd rather play them in November than March....

Regardless of Indiana and Georgia, this schedule is not going to help UCLA in the RPI department.

Dang, no trip to the Washington schools this year. Didn't think that was due in the rotation already. I'm in Seattle, I've made a habit of going to the game when OSU comes to town. Not this year apparently.

So, if I didn't miss anything (that's a big if), UCLA is the big winner here. They only play oregon and Oregon State once, and that is a home game for them. They also only play Stanford once (on the road). Right off the bat, UCLA misses three potential losses with that schedule. Pencil them in for near the top of the conference when all is said and done. If I remember correctly, their non conference schedule is fairly easy too. They have a real shot to make a run, but they'll need a lot of young players to come through for them.
Stanford has to play both the Oregon schools twice, but only faces UCLA once (at home) and only plays the tough Arizona schools once, the very last week of the season.
The Arizona teams have to play both Oregon schools, and UCLA twice, but they do miss Stanford on the road.
The Beavs and ducks may get the worst of the 'contending' teams schedules. Beavs face Stanford and the Arizona Schools twice, but only once against UCLA, although that is a road game. Beavs miss a trip to play the Washington schools on the road, and miss UCLA and USC at home.

Cori Close has never finished higher than 3rd in the Pac 12. I don't think she's ever going to win a regular season title, advantageous schedule or not. If she didn't do it w/ Canada and Billings as upperclassmen, this isn't the year either. Outside of Onyenwere and Dean they aren't returning much production. IF Corsaro, Horvat, Miller, Smith and Jefferson all improve significantly...but that's a whole lot of ifs.
Last year UCLA was a poor shooting team that made a living on offensive rebounds. While Onyenwere led the team in that department, Drummer and Burke were #2 and #3 by a WIDE margin and both are gone. I don't think Onyenwere can do it by herself, can anybody else on the roster do the same thing? If not they better start shooting a whole lot better (.414 overall and .306 from 3).

They lose Burke and Drummer, both of which played significant roles, so I’m interested to see how they replace them. Going to need Horvat to step it up after an injury-ridden season.

They have a Top 10/outstanding recruiting class... Owens, Osborne, Brown are VERY good. Add a Canadian National team PF at 6'2" who is seen as under valued 3* with a great shooting touch, it's a very good class to add to talent that played behind talent. They will be tough despite CC.
