Thanks for posting beaverfever.....
I'll say this: Hailey Van Lith is one helluva player.....Reminds me of Slocum in size, style, and pretty much her entire game. My guess is that the coaches recruiting her expect that she will be an immediate impact player as a frosh, and a bona fide star by her sophomore year.....
I've been kinda so-so about her recruitment but not any longer. I REALLY want Rueck to reel her in....She strikes me as that good. Even if she doesn't score (which she does with an impressive array of both square-up and slash) she penetrates and dishes so superbly that everyone around her performs better...That's especially important for us with the Bigs we have in the program..
She has her pick of schools, so it would be a big deal for the program if she signed on...Love to see it happen. GO BEAVS !!

Also, there is a chance we’re recruiting Australia’s PG Lily Scanlon. She is pretty darn good too.

Caitlin and Hailey will be playing for gold tomorrow! They beat Belgium earlier today, and will play Australia once again. Hailey has been getting a ton of minutes, while Clark has been playing more of a reserve role. I'm really hoping for one -- or two if were being greedy.

I hope the coaches feel they have a good shot with Van Lith, could come down to OSU and Baylor..

Trailing by a point with 3:16 remaining in the game, the USA U19 women (6-0) scored the final nine points of the contest and came away with a 67-59 semifinal victory over Belgium (5-1) in FIBA U19 World Cup semifinal action on Saturday night in Bangkok, Thailand. The U.S. will face Australia (5-1) in Sunday’s gold medal contest (8:30 a.m. EDT), which viewers in the United States can watch on ESPN+.Australia defeated Spain (5-1) 64-55 in the first semifinal game to earn its gold medal game berth. Belgium in the fourth quarter erased a nine-point deficit with a 12-2 run to push ahead 59-58. However, Rhyne Howard (Kentucky/Cleveland, Tenn.), who was 2-of-3 from 3-point and scored a team-high 14 points on the night, hit a 3 at 2:52 to lift the U.S. to 61-59. That energized the USA’s defense, which held Belgium to 0-of-5 from the field and forced a pair of turnovers over the remainder of the game. Article

I remain confident that Van Lith will sign with OSU.

Why isn't someone from OSU there to watch Van Lith? Troubling.
