Does anyone know if Addy Brown has already been to Corvallis? I’m assuming she may have visited Kennedy a time or two, but I see that she has recently taken unofficial visits to Kansas State, Drake and Nebraska. This has me wondering if OSU is still in the mix.

Amari Whiting had a good weekend at a camp in Memphis, TN:
An article noted she is visiting Oregon and BYU this summer in addition to her Utah visit last week. Not mention of an OSU visit, yet.

Yeah, there was all kinds of praise for her play this weekend. Amari follows Oregon state wbb on twitter, and her and Jenny Huth were already following each other on twitter, so I'll be shocked if she doesn't visit Oregon State. You would expect her to visit both schools on the same trip, but who knows.

Addy continues her visits of the schools in her area, recently visiting Kansas, Nebraska, and now Oklahoma. How serious the Beavs are about her, I'm not sure, but new assistant coach Jenny Huth, was already following the entire Brown family on twitter before coming to Oregon State, so she knows the family already.

Huth helped UCLA finish as the runner up for both Kennedy and Taylor, so lots of familiarity there:

Huth must have forged a good relationship with the family as she was following the entire Brown family, including Kennedy and Addy's sister. It's super early, but I really like what I'm seeing from Huth's early days at Oregon State.

I'm a big fan of her game. I REALLY don't want her to end up at oregon.

Main targets at this event? Sofia Bell, Breya Cunningham, who else?

I believe Donovyn Hunter was on this CalStars team. I'm not sure if she still is. Katie Fiso is on the treeofhope team. KF started following her on Instagram before she took the Washington job. One of the CalSwish teams has Shaq's daughter (and Zach Randolph's daughter) They are both class of 2024. I'm not sure if they are on the team at this event, but it appears that they are.

I believe Hunter is now playing for Cal Stars EYBL. Not sure I see OSU pursuing her hard at this point though. 2023 Amanda Muse is also on the Cal Stars EYBL squad. She’s from California and her sister plays at Boise State. She’s an impressive rim runner, shot blocker, and passer who could develop really nicely if she adds strength and develops a better offensive game. She would be a great option to come in behind Raegan and develop her game for a few years while being productive off the bench. Tree of Hope has ‘23 Jenna Villa and ‘24s Devin Coppinger and Katie Fiso. I believe No. 1 overall in 2023, Judea Watkins, plays for Cal Swish. Ashlynn Shade is a really good 2023 who plays for Lady Gym Rats EYBL.

OSU not chasing after Donovyn Hunter. Interesting. Any idea why? Maybe Hunter is not interested in OSU, or maybe Rueck thinks he has someone who will serve his purposes better.
I really don't know much about DH except that she was touted as something of a phenom as a ninth-grader..Kind of a super-star in the making.... And I was just curious if she was still thought of as a can't miss prospect...
I appreciate all the info you add to the board beaverwbb fan..... It helps those of us who don't know much about the kids in the distant pipeline to think we know more than we really do!!🤠 GO BEAVS!!

Her ACL injury may have hampered her trajectory some, but I watched quite a few Cal Stars games last season and was not overly impressed. She was coming off of that injury and playing up two levels (a 2023 playing against and with 2021s in U17). Sofia Bell is certainly the better of the two at this point -- quicker, longer, etc. There are definitely some better guards in the '23 class that would be more worth pursuing than Hunter.
