Frequently, it seems, younger siblings want to carve out their own identity and not go where big brother/sister went. That may be true, but frequently siblings want to play together as well. I can think of quite a few examples just off the top of my head. 2 Tarvers @ OSU and 2 O'Bannons @ UCLA in men's bb. Maybe it's mostly just because it's Stanford, but they had 2 Ogwumikes and then 2 Samuelsons for wbb. 2 Mabrey's at Notre Dame. I think 1 had to transfer in but there were 2 Waners at Duke.
Oh, and 2 Thompson's @ OSU as well. Assistant coach's sons, but it still counts.
I'm sure there are countless other examples.

The Molina clan at wsu Hull twins at Stanford Sabally sisters at convict u Chanelle really, really liked OSU, but her sisters weren’t good enough to make it a package deal, and they wanted to stick together. If it weren’t for her sisters there was a good chance she ended up at OSU. Sometimes it’s the third sister that wants to venture out. The third Mabrey, third Ogwumike (not sure if she had a Stanford offer), and the third Samuelson all opted for other schools than their older sisters.

While I was at Central Washington there were 2 Pepper brothers from the Yakima area on the bb team. After I left a third arrived. All time name team, Redmond "Redd" Pepper.
I think Colorado had 3 sisters on their volleyball team recently, can't recall the name though.
There's actually 4 Ogwumike sisters. The younger pair I think both started out at Pepperdine, Erica transferred to Rice and was a star there. Not sure what happened to the other one. Hmm, apparently Olivia transferred to Rice as well but barely played while there.

Twins seem much more likely to be a package deal. Stanford has quite a history of that. Wopats and Keefes in wvbb. Collins and Lopez in mbb.

Can't believe I didn't think of it sooner, Giuliana and Gioconda Mendiola at Washington. I think that was one of those deals where UW got Guiliana largely because they also offered Gio a scholie, but she ended up a starter multiple seasons and was a decent contributor herself. Gio was older but delayed enrollment so they could play all 4 years together.

I know its football and the wrong school, but the same scenario for the Herbert siblings.

That's really early for anybody to commit to anyone🏀.....I think she is one of the very few from her class to give a verbal this early.... She's so young it's hard for me to give any weight to her video that is provided a few posts above....She looks solid, but if she has greatness inside her, it's pretty well hidden. GO BEAVS !!

I see from Instagram that Amari Whiting already has several offers just as an incoming high school freshman at Burley, Idaho. The offers include BYU, Utah Valley University, and Montana State. Her father played basketball at BYU, so she would have incentive to go there. I see on Instagram that Katie and family is visiting Shoshone Idaho. Burly is just down the road, I wonder if she will be stopping by to chat with Amari Whiting about basketball ?

That would a 'no' because the NCAA has extended the 'dead period' in recruiting through June 30th, and are talking about extending it through July 31st...see below
"The NBCA & WBCA had recently recommended to the NCAA that the dead period be extended out to July 31.
A dead period is a period of time where "a college coach may not have face-to-face contact with college-bound student-athletes or their parents, and may not watch student-athletes compete or visit their high schools. Coaches may write and telephone student-athletes or their parents during a dead period," according to the NCAA's official definition."
Oh, and she is a 2023 recruit, so can't go see her for that reason as well.

After March 1, 2021 (?), they will be able to do them with 2022s.
