#10 from the Seattle area. Which Pac 12 school will she end up at, highly likely not UW.
I bet that's Lauren Cox sister at #21, Flower Mound, TX sounds familiar.
Sure is. Baylor also already has the #2 prospect committed in Sammie Wagner. Fremont HS in Utah has a nice frontline. 2021 6'4" Emma Calvert (BYU), 2022 6'2" Timea Gardiner, and 2023 6'6" Maggie Mendelson. All top-50 kids too. Seems like Utah has been producing some good talent lately. I noticed several from Arizona in the coming classes too.

It’s the Mormon breeding farm ( not being negative ). When I was in school we wanted our 7’ center to marry our women’s 6’6” forward . We told them that the school would pay for the wedding . Never happened , but many years of cocktail party jokes !

Good find beaverwbb. Beavs have definitely shown a lot of interest in Chloe Clardy and Sofia Bell....probably most of the others on this list as well.

Lets ask her sister Addyson if Kennedy went that also ; ) Whoa! I didn't make the connection. Do we have the inside track? Some big advantages here. - Scott has an excellent relationship with the Derby head coach, and I've read they have similar coaching styles.
- The Brown family is very vocal for OSU, and the program.
- Since we recruited Kennedy, Scott, Katie, et all have most likely been around those 2 in open gyms since they were 7th grade or earlier.
- If Kennedy redshirts this year, she will be a senior their Freshman year. That could be the biggest factor of all.
Nothing is certain in recruiting, but it's a nice start.

Nothing is certain in recruiting, but it's a nice start. Frequently, it seems, younger siblings want to carve out their own identity and not go where big brother/sister went. I have no idea which way Brown the Younger will ultimately lean, but I'm fairly certain her mother will be 100% supportive of her daughter, not Oregon State University. So, while we would certainly seem to have the early edge here, let's not get too fired up too soon. The other girl from Derby? I don't think too many of us even knew she existed until yesterday, and don't know a thing about her. Maybe she hates every member of the Brown family with a passion; who knows?

It's certainly possible, but relationships matter in recruiting. And the fact that we have pre-established relationships in this situation helps OSU.

The other girl from Derby, Maryn Archer has been mentioned here before, and is rated higher than Addyson by at least couple services I've seen. I'm pretty sure there has been video of her posted on one of these threads. She's a good player. I think she is only 5'6" or 5'7, which traditionally isn't the size the Beavs recruit, but they are definitely keeping an eye on her, and following her on social media. Oh, and Maryn and Addyson have played together for a while. They don't hate each other yet. The relationship obviously helps, but I expect Addyson to be open to all callers, and would put the chances below 50% for her to become a Beav. If Kennedy raves about how great Oregon State and the coaches are, and if she would be around as a senior for her and Addyson to get to play one year together, then that would obviously make a difference. They were too many years apart to play in high school together, so the opportunity to play one year together may be appealing to Addyson.

Frequently, it seems, younger siblings want to carve out their own identity and not go where big brother/sister went. That may be true, but frequently siblings want to play together as well. I can think of quite a few examples just off the top of my head. 2 Tarvers @ OSU and 2 O'Bannons @ UCLA in men's bb. Maybe it's mostly just because it's Stanford, but they had 2 Ogwumikes and then 2 Samuelsons for wbb. 2 Mabrey's at Notre Dame. I think 1 had to transfer in but there were 2 Waners at Duke.
Oh, and 2 Thompson's @ OSU as well. Assistant coach's sons, but it still counts.
I'm sure there are countless other examples.
