Just horrendous offense right now. The poor shooting is bad enough, but the lack of aggressiveness - everyone almost acting afraid to shoot the ball - is really disappointing.

Can't win if you don't hit open shots. Clank clank clank This team hasn't shot the ball well since Januaryđ 2-21 from 3. Almost as bad as it can get. |

Tudor absolutely would have helped if she was hitting her 3 ball. Itâs as simple as we canât make a shot. That is a potential win if we can hit from deep or even at all. It is weird that we went from an elite shooting team to BAD. On to next season.

We must have set a record for the most in and out shots over the last several games.
Good defensive effort to bad we couldn't capitalize on it and make some shots.

But she doesnât make up for a 17 point beat down All speculation, but when youâre down single digits and get stops repeatedly, only to look like deer in headlights with shots that you can make, Tudor absolutely could have changed this game. It didnât get away until the 4th quarter. If Kat is playing and hits a couple of 3s during that 3rd quarter drought (I canât figure how we kept the deficit in single digits for so long honestly) it could have easily been a 1 or 2 possession game entering the 4th quarter. All the âcoulda, woulda, shouldasâ make for great debate, but the truth is that we had zero inside presence this year, and a couple of people who have played a lot of good ball against the nationâs best in the past just didnât show up this year in the tourney. Louisville is more talented than us even with Tudor, but I would have loved to have seen what this team looked like this year with a healthy Kat and a healthy Aquino. Hopefully, weâll get to find out next year. As it was, this was another very notable season for this team. |
