Fire him. It really does not matter that his son is our best player. It would be a good thing for Tres, honestly. He could transfer somewhere for his last college season (if he decides to not declare) and actually win games.
With the exception of Tres being dinged up, Wayne had a completely healthy team this year, with several 4-star recruits (TT, Thompson x2, Hollins, Washington, G). The conference was young, and HISTORICALLY AWFUL. We were one of the few teams with actual experience.
The result? 18-13 and lost 5 of our last 7 games.

I hear all the frustration and I get it, totally. But, who are we going to get? Is there a Rueck out there for the boys game?

Let’s be real, Wayne is not going anywhere. I’m as frustrated as anyone, but Wayne will be here for a while. On the other hand, the argument, “who would we get” holds no water. In the next two weeks there will be a group of mid major HC’s who make a splash in the dance and will be looking to step up.

The collapse at the end of year is not a feather in his cap (depressing to me), but I think he’s safe at OSU. The Beavs aren’t bad. Not great. They’re actually a decent program, and THAT is good enough for the AD and prez. That’s my take

Actually maybe not "a while" there is much discussion going on about more than just on the court coaching... wins/losses. If another player leaves with similar grievances as a couple already gone, there are people not happy... and not boosters. And, my complaint about arrogant family members wasn't just a one game thing. The treatment of support staff, students is also not isolated incident.

Interesting Yeah... not GAG level or anywhere near. But the ring of "entitlement" and special treatment can become a problem unless you're winning at a very high level.

I honestly quit posting and held my tongue. It's time for a change. They need to involve the heavy alumni this time around (if rumors are true they haven't previously w/ old Bobby DeCareless.)

Not sure Washington was either.

Might have made a difference in 3 close losses.
