Looks like Maggie visited Nebraska the first weekend of September. From the talk I've seen, it's Nebraska, Texas, Texas A&M, and Stanford getting the most buzz, but with her reclassifying to 2022, who knows. She's quite the player though, ranked #20 by Hoopgurlz, #6 by BlueStar, and #4 by ASGR in the class of 2023 (basketball). She may be just as good at Volleyball. I'm guessing it won't be Stanford, and it sounds like Nebraska has a real shot. Although this has not been confirmed, I heard she visited Washington a couple of weeks ago. I know their basketball team is rebuilding, but they have some talented recruits and their volleyball program is hot coming off a final four appearance last spring. If the Beavs arenโt an option, I sure hope she doesnโt come to the PAC-12. Washington would be a good spot for her. They already have a really good class. I'm kind of hoping she stays away from the Pac if she's not going to be a Beav.

Personally I love it that the best players come to the Pac-12. Last year with two teams from the Pac-12 playing in the championships was awesome. Playing against the best makes you the best. I think UConn lost to Arizona because they play their wimpy conference schedule and Arizona plays in the Pac-12 and was ready for the challenge!

Well, if she does join the Pac-12, Timea G. has practiced against her for years and knows a lot of her moves being on the same HS team.

Nifty move from Raegan, who has a really impressive skill set:

I'm about as excited as a fan can get to have Raegan join this team. I'll be shocked if she is not a star in this league.

Raegan Beers looks pretty stout to me. I think she will have no problem carving out space for herself down low, in the block.

Yes, it will feel much better when the commits actually sign......and the coaches will finally be able to comment about them once they sign, so I'm looking forward to hearing those comments as well.

That is one remarkably impressive h.s. tourney.... Running and organizing a 16-team h.s. tourney is enough to drive most sports enthusiasts into early retirement!! But this thing is gigantic.
I see that this tourney is sponsored by Nike, but does anyone know who runs it? Who handles the hundreds of day-to-day practical issues of organizing a sporting event of this size? Arranging accommodations and transportation alone would be quite the accomplishment. Anyone here ever attended this tourney? Thanks....(I've organized a few small tourneys in my day - but this thing seems to be in a class by itself.)๐ GO BEAVS!!

UCLA just got Kiki Rice, rated as high as #2 for '22. I don't think anybody was predicting that was gonna be her choice. Damn the Pac 12 is gonna be stacked for years!

With Kiki Rice, UCLA has commitments from 4 of ESPN's top 22 players for the class of 2022.... Impressive no matter how you slice it....However..... One thing that caught my eye is their height: 5-11, 5-8, 5-5, and 6-0. If those kids are gonna do their thing in the PAC, Close better recruit some height and weight.๐ GO BEAVS!!

UCLA doesn't need any bigs...their little ones will simply run around and steal the ball, as opposed to having to grab rebounds. Also, could this bump UCLA up to the number one ranked 2022 recruiting class over the Oregon Ducks? UCLA was already ESPN's No. 2 ranked recruiting class (Ducks 1, UCLA 2, Oregon State 3, UCONN 4, Stanford 5, Arizona 6...)

Huge fan of Kiki Rice! Another really nice get for UCLA, but you are correct, they are getting a bunch of smaller players. They also have a commit from 2023 5'6" point guard Jada Williams. I do question these teams that seem to recruit a top PG every year. They have made it so easy to transfer now, most of the really good players know they will have a second chance with another program if things are not working out with their first choice. Sasha and Savannah are good examples.
