2 in the top 10 and Adlee at 92. Not a bad class

20 of the 100 coming to the Pac-12 & Washington, surprisingly has 3, UCLA 4, Stanford 2, AZ 2, some clown school 4, USC 1, Cal 1 and our 3 Before Marotte changed to OSU, UW had 4 ESPN Top 100 recruits for '21 (I don't know about ASGR rankings for that class). Langley kept the rest of the class intact. They even had 2 in the '20 class (and that doesn't include Tameiya Sadler, who was one of the better Fr. in the conference last season). They've been managing to get some players ranked between 60-100 or so in recent years. Now they might actually have a competent coach who can do something with her players.
Wandering off topic, but I looked back thru quite a few years of Hoopgurlz rankings for kicks and giggles. Just shows how much of an inexact science it all is. I think they had Wiese ranked #80. Aari McDonald was #55. Kelsey Plum was #26. Amber Melgoza wasn't even in the top 100. I forget exactly where she was, but I think Goodman was high 60s or 70s. All ludicrously under ranked in hindsight. From year to year you can find a number of Top 30 or even 20 recruits who did pretty much nothing during their college careers.

Yep , recruiting ranking is not an exact science ! More like a hugely biased WAG .

Has or will OSU offer? She the type you take regardless? Seems like it and they have scholarships available.

Mendelson will not consider OSU due to the current state of our volleyball program. While Mendelson is really talented at both sports, she's slightly better at volleyball. She'll likely be considering the Stanford, Wisconsin, Texas-type schools.

Lauren Ware was supposed to play both at Arizona, but as far as I can tell she has yet to play vball and this is her second year.
Stanford has had a couple athletes pull it off over the years. I think one of the Hamsons did it at BYU recently. Can't be easy playing multiple sports in college.

From the talk I've seen, it's Nebraska, Texas, Texas A&M, and Stanford getting the most buzz, but with her reclassifying to 2022, who knows. She's quite the player though, ranked #20 by Hoopgurlz, #6 by BlueStar, and #4 by ASGR in the class of 2023 (basketball). She may be just as good at Volleyball. I'm guessing it won't be Stanford, and it sounds like Nebraska has a real shot.

I know their basketball team is rebuilding, but they have some talented recruits and their volleyball program is hot coming off a final four appearance last spring. If the Beavs aren’t an option, I sure hope she doesn’t come to the PAC-12.

I think Ware ripped her knee in her senior year in high school.....Maybe that shifted her thinking to the idea that she had better stick with only one knee-taxing sport, and basketball won out......My personal speculation only... GO BEAVS!!
