Great game for Timea to finish their weekend: NWBA posted all of their recent games. Her mobility and conditioning still aren’t completely there, but she was really good all around.

Great game for Timea to finish their weekend: NWBA posted all of their recent games. Her mobility and conditioning still aren’t completely there, but she was really good all around. I'm totally amazed by her all around game. If healthy she's a star WNBA bound. She could potentially play all five positions. She has antisipation great instinct great court awareness great inside outside offensive skills. Also passes better then most guards do. Really physical. But to top that all off she is a great team player.she reads positions and plays how she is coached. Very smart young lady. If she can play a lot she will rub off on all her team mates and make everybody better. SO I wish her and the others at OSU the very best in their healing process. So they may make the best of their hopes and dreams. Great find coach!

Who's the guy doing the interviews? He sure put in a bunch of plugs for Oregon State! Maybe we should take up a collection and pal him for his NIL.

He definitely has a thing for the Beavs. What I really like is that these girls already know each other on and off the court. Their chemistry may be a huge advantage in the adjustment period.

I’m still amazed we landed Timea. She’s an LBJ-type in that she a really rare combination of size, strength and quickness. Add to her being a really fundamentally sound team defensive player that can protect the rim without needing to defend near it. Oh, and she can score at all levels in the other end. Hard to imagine her not taking us to another level in the postseason during her career.

The only LBJ's I can think of are the president from the 60's, his wife, and their 2 daughters - none of whom, I hasten to add, were known for their quicks. So who is the LBJ to whom you refer?

Timea and Raegan's stats through their past two Adidas tournaments:
Raegan: 10.2 PPG, 12.0 RPG, 0.8 APG, 50 FG%, 45.5 FT%
Timea: 11.8 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 0.8 APG, 51.1 FG%, 45.5 3FG%, 64.3 FT%
Raegan desperately needs to work on her FTs. She's really impressive on the boards and has a lot more bounce than I expected. She'll be very good, especially as she expands her game.
Timea haș a great outside shot and an incredible feel for the game. Given that she was out of shape and playing through an injury (missed the last four games because she needed to rest her knee), she had a solid tournament. Needs to get a little better finishing inside, but not sure OSU has had a recruit as well-rounded as Timea. Looking forward to seeing her get her quickness and conditioning back.

Some elsewhere in the Pac-12 updates:
UCLA landed a commitment from 6-0 wing Gabriela Jaquez today. She's a hard-nosed player who scores really well around the basket and in transition. She was probably the best player for Cal Stars at Nike Nationals (mind you that group includes Breya Cunningham, Jennah Isai, and Sofia Bell). Very underrated by ESPN at #63 overall.
That's UCLA's fifth 2022 commitment, plus they have a 2023 commit. London Jones, Paris Clark, and Jada Williams are all good PG/CGs, so I would assume that means Chance Gray ends up at Oregon.
Will be really interesting to see who finishes in what order out of UCLA, OSU, UO, Stanford, and Arizona.

Chance Gray is going to be a problem for the rest of the Pac whether she shows up at Fucla or Whoregon. Nice solid pick up for either one.
Vanslooten will likely follow Gray

Chance is making her decision tomorrow (Sunday). If there is any mystery left, it will be over tomorrow. I think Vanslooten could very well end up at Oregon, but I don't think it is because she is following Gray. Vanslooten is one of my favorite players in the 2022 class. It will be sad for me to see her at any Pac12 school.

Chance Gray picked Oregon. That's a lot of PGs for the next 3-4 years. Paopao has 4 years left and Rogers has 3.

That means the ducks insured very little drop off in skill level At pg. that’s what hurt them when pao pao was injured. They lost a very valuable position during the end of their season. He doesn’t want to go that route again. Lucky him. Damnit!
