Has Clark expressed any interest in staying home in Iowa? Both those programs had outstanding years.

Maybe the chances of Van Lith going to UCONN have diminished, but I wouldn't write that one off yet. Bueckers and Van Lith are close friends that have expressed interest in playing together, Van Lith has reportedly always been interested in UCONN, and Bueckers has sometimes referred to herself as a combo guard. After saying all of that, I still don't expect Van Lith to go to UCONN, but I don't think it's over. She obviously is still open to Baylor, and others, so we can't count our chickens yet. I would really like to get a commitment soon to get the ball rolling........and before all our top targets commit somewhere else. Hopefully, we will get good news from Goforth next month. Although the interest from Clark is real, I have a feeling it is Oregon or Notre Dame for her. (that's just a feeling, no knowledge). There are a lot of good point guards in the 2020 class, so that is the good news. The other thing to always keep an eye on these days is transfers. Tranfers may not play as big a role as recruiting, but it it a big role in the college game these days. Yes, but UCONN might no longer be interested in her. They have other needs to address. ND is already backlogged with young guards, so Clark might not want to go there although the Catholic angle might change things. I think Clark will give the Iowa schools serious consideration.

The thing about Iowa is the graduate a lot. I’m pretty sure their whole starting 5 wil be gone when Clark would arrive. I know Iowa State will lose their best player, but not sure who else they have. I’m pretty sure both teams were peaked this season in regards to the next few years.

I think having Van Lith's brother here in the summer playing baseball will be an advantage for us. My gut feeling is we get Clark and Van Lith both. They want to play together!

Looking at the Corvallis Knights roster, Tanner is on a 10 day contract. Hopefully it gets extended, or at least the entire Van Lith family comes to cheer him on for the time he is here...... Go Beavers!

This probably belongs on the baseball board . . . but how does a 10-day contract work in *amateur* baseball? That has to be a league rule to limit roster size and keep teams from stockpiling players.
And a 10-day contract might be perfect. Chances are, a bunch of family will come down for the two weeks, enjoy Corvallis in the summer, and if Hailey is with them I bet she spends a lot of time with the team.

I researched as best I could some of the top teams with next year (2020), current year (2019), or previous year (2018) POINT GUARD commitments that are or could be under consideration by Van Lith and/or Clark. Despite getting Bueckers, UCONN appears to still be after Van Lith. Baylor has Scott-Grayson but is going strong after Van Lith for sure. Notre Dame is still after Clark, but already has 3 point guards. So, all in all, I still like the Beavers chances for one or the other and of course OSU has a huge void/severe need for 2020 and beyond. Hopefully this also will weigh in our favor.
UCONN...Bueckers (2020), Muhl (2020) [offer to Van Lith (still?), no offer to Clark] Notre Dame...Campbell (2020), Peoples (2019), Nixon (2018) [offer to Clark, apparently no offer to Van Lith] Stanford...Gytenbeek (2020), Jump (2019), Brown (2018) [can't find info if they have offered none, one or both] Baylor...Scott-Grayson (2018) [offer to Van Lith and recruiting her heavily, no information on Clark] Oregon...Shelley (2019), Chavez (2018) [probably has offers to both]
UPDATED TABLE ON 4-8-19, IN BOLD.

Brink, the Oregonian, is a 6-4 F headed to Stanford. Clark pretty much gave insight into her top schools.

The team only guarantees them a roster spot for 10 days. The sign a number of kids this way until all of their normal roster is available after the end of the college baseball playoff season. They have historically kept a couple of the 10 day signees for the entire season. It is essentially a try out period for them and if they do well, they could be kept.

Looks like the Beavs did not make Lauren Ware's top 10, but Arizona, Arizona St, and oregon did.

Looks like the Beavs did not make Lauren Ware's top 10, but Arizona, Arizona St, and oregon did. Can’t say I’m surprised given the posts/forwards we have going forward. It was also a basketball/volleyball top 10, so not surprised to see schools like Minnesota, Florida, and Nebraska in there.
