Scott and his staff continue to impress. We now not only recruit 5* players, we're drawing them from across the country. McWilliams, Pivec, and Corosdale were all from the northwest. Aquino was still in New Jersey when she committed, and now we get Jones from Texas and Brown from Kansas. It would seem that we must be perceived by the top players to be a legitimate national force with staying power, and more and more of them must be willing to take a serious look at us.Having had a player of Destiny's stature transfer here from a very solid Maryland program doesn't hurt the cause either.
Three of the top Four in Hoopgurlz' 2020 class are point guards. I will now be surprised if we don't land one of them.

First time SR gets 2 five star recruits in one class. Now let him follow this up with a 5 star PG and a 5 star wing in 2020!!!...if he and his staff do that, OSU should be a strong contender for a NC during the next several years if all goes well.

Our program is no doubt on or above the level of those I mentioned we beat out for Jones and Brown. In recent years we were having more success than all of those programs, maybe just not recruiting at the same level. That has no doubt changed over the past few years and this year seals the deal. This is the first time we’ve beat out that many great programs for two prospects. Baylor twice, UCLA twice, Louisville twice, Tennessee twice. This class is likely top 3 in the Pac-12 (dependant upon the importance of class size) and top 20 in the nation. GO BEAVS!

GO BEAVS I think I was too caught up on the fact that we beat them out for a top-20 recruit .

So it seems very likely that we will see 6’6, 6’9, and 6,7 on the floor at the same time. Maybe Aquino in the high-post, Morris in the low-post, and Kennedy on the perimeter.
A 6-6 wing will be very interesting. She will likely play the 3 and 4 positions at OSU. Does she have the speed to guard the opposing team’s 3? Does she have the skills to play out on the perimeter? I personally have not seen enough film on her to comment. She does move quite impressively for 6-6 and seems to be really coordinated. I do think she could hang with Sabally or Boley. These sure are going to be some interesting years at OSU!
Also, her recruiting process has been very interesting. Not sure I can recall such an in-depth process. She really worked hard to find the right fit, and we are all very happy it turned out to be the Beavs!

Here is an updated version of the depth chart adding in Kennedy Brown. Scott seems to typically prefer a roster of 12 or so, so my guess is a 3 or 4 person class in 2020. If Kennedy is going to be playing the 3, do we still recruit Brink and Daniels? Definitely 2/3 guards/wings I’m guessing

Well, I guess...maybe if a shorter, quicker player blows by Kennedy, she can reach over and block their shot from behind. She doesn't want to be stuck in the paint so her choice of OSU makes sense if you look at it that way. This will be interesting. Some things just make you stop and want to go hmmmmmmm.....for example, thinking out loud, maybe Destiny can take a turn at the post when Aleah is playing PG.

She wants to be the 6'6" version of Katie Mac - who blocks girls from behind all the time. If she can shoot 40% from the 3-line - and she says that she's been working on exactly that - then it seems like a perfectly cromulent plan.
