I read on the Men's site that an intra-squad game (scrimmage) is gong to be held sometime in October. Does the Women's team hold a similar event? Would be fun to watch if they do..... GO BEAVS !!

Now that is an interesting tidbit worthy of elaboration.⚙️
Can you fill us in on what this means, how it comes to be...... I roughly understand these preseason "not-for-real" games - but only roughly !
Can you explain how these games work? Thanks. Appreciate it. GO BEAVS

Those non-counting scrimmages are typically closed to the media, but are officiated. In the past two years, the Beavs have traveled to Colorado Springs (I believe) to have live scrimmages against Texas Tech and Florida. I heard that the Beavs destroyed Florida (by 30+ points) last year as Tudor went nuts from beyond the arc and the team got a glimpse of how competitive it could be in the post-Sydney Wiese era.
You won't see the score of the scrimmage reported, but the scrimmages do provide the squad and coaches with some ideas of what may be working well and what parts of the offense and defense may need extra work.

I just want to get good feedback - I recall LSU coming in for a scrimmage way back, the little colonel or early JJ era, and having someone report that "they couldn't believe how bad the Beaver men were" - not this year!

Off to Colorado to play TCU soon i believe TCU should be a decent test. They are ranked #4 in the Big-12 (really only ten?) Preseason poll: 2018-19 Big 12 Conference Women's Basketball Preseason Poll1. Baylor (8) 802. Texas (2) 723. West Virginia 654. TCU 495. Oklahoma 476. Iowa State 447. Oklahoma State 348. K-State 299. Kansas 2110. Texas Tech 9 (These conference names are getting nuts. The Big-10 has 14 teams, and the Big-12 has just 10 teams?)

Not a scrimmage but I see the exhibition game with NW Nazarene will be at 11 am on Nov. 3rd ahead of the football game with usuc at 7 pm.

Could be wrong, but I seem to recall reading that season tickrt holders don't pay for parking.

It appears that the BeaverWBB Twitter site is not shy about showing that the team is heading on the road to an undisclosed destination.

Football team wins a Pac-12 Game and WBB team loses a scrimmage? Gotta be a first in recent OSU years
