Nice self awareness. Take your own advice! FYI- Kelly needs to start. Much more active than Big G. Also, nice to see Hollins turn it up after an invisible 1st game. Reichle has yet to show much of anything. We are going to need another player or two to show something off the bench. so.. i get breaking in the newbs but what what kind of milestones must Kelley achieve before you and others bother to spell his name correctly. He doesn't really have to. He knows how it should be or was truly meant to be spelled...

All I'm saying friend.... we have had 2 scheduled games and we have won 2. We will see rotations play out, wins & losses etc. I'm also sayin I enjoy a season to play out and critique then. Try it.... it's much more enjoyable. Actually you're no "friend" as they'd not tell someone that opinions in season are not the norm for fans, and that their supposed "enjoyable" moments, or how they watch a season unfold are what everyone should do/enjoy. And, I'd bet an sizable sum... you're a hypocrite in saying as much. Never states an opinion, never states a frustration, never an observation throughout every season... college, pro, high school, your kids activities. Yeah... you're the what? Perfect fan... I think not. And, "friend", I'll post on the message board pretty much as everyone else does. And, it's not after the season. Nor is it after two games (vs far inferior competition than Pac12 play) thinking wins correspond to outweighing past performances. Thanks for playing... Baseba1111 I actually enjoy your posts, passion and knowledge that you bring to this board. I really do. I've had the opportunities to coach at high level (another sport) and creating roles & playing time evolve. You got 2 testy on this. All I was saying is that it was little early for critiques on sub patterns are a wee bit early in GAME #1. Wins are the most important thing period. Anyone who spends time posting here has passion for all things BEAVS. Take it easy.... let's see what plays out.

I once worked in a Mexican restaurant with a Hispanic gentleman, who I called "mi amigo." I called him that for a couple of months. Finally, he leaned over to me, and, in the most threatening way he could muster said, "I am not your friend." Being a much bigger man, after that, I called him "mi bandito," until he ultimately quit. thetruebeav may not be your friend, baseba1111 , but you are mi bandito.

I was at today’s game, a couple of observations (fair warning, there are some opinions and speculation, sprinkled with some prognostications....could be a gut check for some).
The ball movement and shot selection was so much better than Tuesday. Good assist numbers again, but clearly more focus on getting open shots. TT in particular was outstanding. He draws a ton of attention and when he uses that to dish to an open teammate we get a lot of easy buckets. KK will be our starter come conference play, he needs work (and weight), but he is very athletic for his size. He can impact the game on both ends and did so today. The others will all be solid backups, but I can’t imagine a lot of offense from any of them this year. AV got a good amount of pt. He needs to get used to the speed of the game at this level to be effective on offense (he was a bit of a liability), but makes us better on d. AH benefitted from the new offensive approach and looked good on both ends of the floor, and rebounded well. He has the most upside of anyone on this team in my opinion. ST shot well and did well with his shot selection.
Our defense was hot & cold. When we play with energy, with our athleticism, we are tough. We seem to go through lulls, primarily up top, that causes us problems. AV would help, but too much of an offensive liability currently.
Wyoming was not a great team, a few decent athletes, and no real size inside. We exposed a pretty loose zone they ran. If we played d like we can, all game, they would have struggled to score 50.

If you, like I, have coached at said high level you'd know that what "evolves" is a product of what we've seen from said coach. As stated by many here, what we've witnessed is following the same "patterns" we've seem before. No prognostications of a failed season. For those who've watched closely, coached at a "high level" or not, it's pretty basic info. And... again you've fallen into the "expert" in all things message boards. Lol... you seem to know when simple black and white electronic messages make someone "testy" or that you have the superiority to tell others they need to "take it easy". Join "club Kreskin"... you have become one of the inane posters who think they actually "know" other posters emotions and persona from these anonymous posts. It's a small group, it's early on for you, but you seem to fit right in with that group. Look forward to seeing more of your judgmental prose in how we BEAVS "should" act and think... guess that's what the moniker indicates. 🍻

Keep sharing your expertise in coaching college basketball, building a culture of a program, rotations and playing time and X & O's. Y'all... I think we have found the Beavers new coach after winning our 1st two games If you have coached at a higher level like I (above high school) then I bet you appreciated insights of fans that shared such unique wisdom like yourself on message boards. Critisism comes with the territory in D1 athletics for coaches. All coaches know this and accept it. They understand that fans will question your rotation in game #1, have better ideas about running an offense and developing a program even if your 2-0. Stay hot!!

Have to love the guy who tells fans what and when to post then goes off the deep end with made up nonsense. But, I suppose you as a coach did read message boards hence the need to control the narrative about observations of teams and players. Fun times... you should post more in YOUR area(s) of expertise. 🤣

I'm looking forward 2 seeing your expertise Do you truly read others posts? Do you read yours? Do you have a comprehension issue? Again... to try and simplify for those that need it... commenting on game 1, game 2, game 21 and comparing to past performances (player or coach) is in no way commenting on a "season". Nor making a predictive statement. And, is simply (thought you'd get simple) conversation about what was seen vs what has been past practice. It's like normal board conversation. It's kinda the same of noticing a player's improved skill or build. Doesn't mean it will carry over to a season of promise, just conversation. To your other random comment. Who, anywhere, mentioned WT or any other coach being concerned or try to "control" (what?) what message board posts or posters? WTF?? If us, other posters, have the right (gee thx for recognizing that... lol) then why the initial post stating exactly the opposite? Random or hypocritical seems to be your forte. Yeah... keep posting, cuz either you have small feet or large mouth.
