@ Gill* Saturday, 12 Noon Pacific Televised on pac 12 networks (will this get flipped over to some channel i dont get?) Last years result: Beaver Loss 66 75 at Gill. Wyoming current record 0-1: lost at UCSB and shot 35% from the field
Good/Bad: Wyoming has a good player in 6'7 senior guard Justin James who averaged 19 points for them last year/Wyoming is very undersized, very young and did not shoot very well in their opener.
outlook: Beavs need to win this game because they should win this game. Beavs starting 5 has no excuse for not overwhelming an inferior opponent. Losing to Wyoming at home last year cannot be this year's excuse, playing an early game on the road cannot be an excuse. Letting the opponent's one good player go off and steal the win also cannot be an excuse. A loss to this Wyoming team would mean serious problems.
prediction: Beavs get huge lead and squander it but win by 4.

Two players who killed the Beavers last year -- Herndon and Dalton -- are no longer with the team. They combined for 8 of 15 from 3 and 38 pts. Not a deep team -- 5 players clocked 32 minutes or more against UCSB. And they got out rebounded by quite a bit. Noticed that JaQuori scored 17 against them yesterday.
Can't take anything for granted after the loss last year (not to mention Wichita St. losing to La. Tech and Baylor losing to Texas Southern last night in home games), but I think the Beavers will win by 10 to 15 this time around.

Is that incorrect?

so the Wyoming UCSB replay was on dark cable last night and...
Wyoming either undersizes it's roster or their kids have grown since it was last updated. They do have some size and overall they look like a better team than i assumed they would be based on their lack of returnees and their record.
Wyoming>Riverside in my opinion. Should be a win for the beavs but they will earn it.

It must be on Pac-12 Oregon. My Dish TV guide shows UCLA @ ASU starting at 11:00 AM on Pac-12 Network.

I just want to see improvement from the Beavs on many of the points already mentioned on here. Short-Handed Cowboys

It's not going to mean much if beavs win by 30 but it would nice to see better playing.

why do you hate the bounce pass so much Ralph? Sometimes its the right pass for the right situation. Sometimes the passer doesn't have a clear path for a chest pass to the cutter but he has room at the defender's feet to bounce it up to his guy.
Get with the times old man!

one thing i am seeing: I want Kylor Kelley in the game as much as possible, if for no other reason than what he is doing on D. He changes shots, he shows good awareness on stopping backdoor. And despite being scrawny he is getting rebounds and garbage points. Wow what a find.

Beavs allow a 7-2 run after Glig comes in for Kelley....

Wyoming is shooting the ball well or the defenders are not beating them to spots and playing good help D. 9 pt lead should be more.
