...one of our new recruits dunked the ball at the practice facility. I look forward to seeing the first Gill Coliseum WBB collegiate dunk sometime early in the season..... Go Beavers!

Wonder if PM can dunk too. I believe Jones is close to dunking, must help having a 7”2 wingspan.

Of course it was! I wouldn't even be surprised if she could leap tall buildings in a single bound given that the squonk has said she possesses the superpower of invisibility. I wonder if Callan's comment means that he was present during some WBB play and that he will have some player interviews to report.

My superpowers comment stands until I see unaltered photographic evidence of JS in Corvallis. The burden of proof is on you haters to prove she's NOT invisible.

As a follower of Jazz on instagram, I can confirm she is in Corvallis. She posted two things on her story, the first was a picture of the practice gym the second a video of AA and PM (who does have instagram if anyone was wondering) dancing!

Wonder if PM can dunk too. I believe Jones is close to dunking, must help having a 7”2 wingspan. The answer to that question is yes. And with relative ease according to a current OSU player who watched her do so several times during the team camp week. Both Morris and Aquino were dunking for observers to see. And video was taken by one of the observers. I saw the video of Morris dunking either in Gill or in the basketball practice facility this past week. It was a grainy video attached and sent via a text, but the 6'7" Morris looked like she was dunking with relative ease. Having two female collegiate frosh-to-be players who can dunk doesn't come along very often. Neither do 6'7" and 6'9" female players in the same recruiting class.... unless you are talking about a men's program.

I personally think SR is about to revolutionize WBB at the collegiate level by having posts who can (easily) dunk, coupled with outside shooters who take and make step back 3s at a ~50% clip. I am sure his widely commented on already thick playbook is growing thicker over the summer. The ability we will have to go inside for VERY high percentage shot attempts, or stay outside and trade 2s for 3s will make opposing coaches heads explode. This is the kind of thing that can take you to the Final 4, and if the cards fall right, to the promised land..... Hence my investment in season tickets. And if you are a PG recruit, dominant centers can let you put up Gary Payton-esque assist numbers (what was remarkable about Payton is he did it without the dominant center).......Hailey take note :-). Go Beavers!

Dunk-schmunk. What I want to know is whether AA is nailing threes.
What a game-changer that would be if she can hit the three, even with middle-of-the-road accuracy! Opposing bigs know how to play D on a bigger girl - it isn't easy, obviously, but it's what they practice every day. But they don't practice defending the perimeter against a 6'9" shooter. It's a match-up nightmare.
